DIFFERENT STYLES Perfect morning light, mix of landscapes, street scene or just the right angle in architecture would make the ideal shot. If you would ask if all above is the answer to making your photo worth the attention, we would agree only if it matches your own style and expectations. Because the final result is really rewarding experience and challenge of getting a great shot and the desire to share it with photography community. These intriguing photos are brimming with inspiration and depth of photography power. We have published two amazing photography projects. One: Mechatronicus project constructed by Ruslan Nurgaliev is all about photography of installations. They are constructed from different objects, from the area of mechanics and electronics. The project presents Ruslan's imagination to achieve mystique nature of the objects on the photographs. Two: Urban Melodies by Alessio Trerotoli where he presents superimposing different pictures which are representation of urban landscapes and contemporary life from modern metropolis. Enjoy!

WHY DID YOU CREATE THIS PROJECT? As I’ve got a higher technical education I am interested in taking photographs of technical subjects. I implemented my idea by setting my imagination free.
WHAT WERE YOU TRYING TO ACHIEVE IN TERMS OF COMPOSITION, LIGHTING AND MOOD? All the works of the project are photographs of installations, which I constructed from different objects from the area of mechanics and electronics. The installations present non-existent in the real life devices and arrangements. By means of presenting recognizable separate elements of the installations, I get the effect of transformation of assumed objects to some truthful and real things. And which is more it has certain functionality. Every viewer can have his own associations. I would like to note some characteristics of this project. They are the following: using a light brush and “sterility” of shooting - objects on the photos are isolated from the world around.
Last aspect breaks the atmosphere of a peremptory existence of the objects, as the viewer can’t see interaction of the objects with outer world – it`s a confirmation of their existence. So, the viewer can rely on his own suppositions only, which can have one more effect. Such effect is achieved by using the light brush. The light of the objects is quite unusual. With the help of the light brush it creates mystique nature of the objects on the photographs.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY?
In fact, I have not been looking for publicity before 2011. I started my career as a design engineer, but have always been haunted by my childhood memory of making black and white photographs with my father. I bought my first digital camera in 2005, and started filling the inner emptiness.
I like it that photography is an accessible form of art. I like the fact that you can see the result of your creative endeavours pretty quickly. The most exciting moment, of course, is the birth and formulation of the idea, and the technical part only helps to realize it. I also love photography’s magical ability to transform reality. Being creative makes me feel fully alive and present in the moment.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE PHOTOGRAPHIC SUBJECTS AND WHY?
WHAT CHALLENGES DID YOU FACE DURING THE IMAGE MAKING PROCESS?
I like conceptual still life photography. Any objects can make a way into my picture: plants, flowers, stones, empty shells, construction toys, pieces of cloth… the list is inexhaustible. I like to experiment. I do love the idea of submerging into the world of objects. I like to see them come to life, acquiring a meaning. Creating various meanings and associations in pictures made up of everyday things are pleasure for me.
I used a lot of different and specific objects for my project. Finding of suitable objects slowed down the progress of the project.
WHAT POST PROCESSING (IF ANY) DID YOU DO? I don’t use post processing with the exception of framing. I consider major post processing a separate genre. The result is not a photo.

WHERE DO YOU HOPE TO TAKE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY IN TERMS OF NEW PHOTOGRAPHIC PROJECTS/ EXPLORING NEW LOCATIONS OR SUBJECTS/TRYING NEW TECHNIQUES? Usually I don`t reveal my future plans and new ideas. In fact, I prefer to talk about the final result rather than future projects and directions of development. Yet, one of my projects I can reveal: I am planning to find my own approach to shooting absolute photography.

ALWAYS ACCESS THE FRONT ROW The Volvo Ocean Race is the World's longest professional sporting event and leading offshore sailing competition. As a Freelance Photographer and because of my relationship with sailing boats, I thought that it would be a nice chance to get involved in this adventure, shooting photos. So, it was time to try out the Camerapixo's Press Card. Artur and Anetta showed great support for my project and backed me up with everything needed in order to obtain from the Volvo Ocean Race organization, my accreditation as a Media Independent Photographer for the event. URBAN MELODIES
With my series “URBAN MELODIES” I create, by superimposing different pictures, an abstract representation of urban landscapes and contemporary life from modern metropolis like Rome, New York, Paris, Berlin and many others. By just a posing a different images, my aim is to show an usual image in a conceptual way, where everything is duplicated, the lights and the structures multiply and build a new vision of urban life.

It was captured in the middle of September, which is an alright time to start the aurora season in northern Norway. The pond in the front makes a nice foreground element to the mighty alps.

Northern Light - The sky was clear above the mountain Kvænangsfjellet in Troms, Norway when a major solar storm ignited the night sky. Due to the absence of the moon it was possible to capture the dim Milky Way that we have up here in the Arctic. I particulary like the foreground in this capture as the small bumps of snow covered grass makes it look like it's captured on another planet.
Arctic Blue - This was captured at Kvænangsfjellet in Troms, Norway in the beginning of October 2015. The northern lights were very active this night and it was really one of those nights that sparks the motivation to stay outside in the freezing cold for hours. The idea behind this shot was to have the rocks that peaked up from the snow lead into the frame. One thing is for sure: It is hard to work that perfect capture when the aurora goes crazy in the sky.

For this capture I wanted the rocks to lead into the frame as the Aurora Borealis moved as waves in the night sky.
