Registration fees

An $8 registration fee is charged for any class whose tuition exceeds $25. Only one registration fee is charged per person per term. The registration fee is not refundable if you withdraw from a class. The fee is refunded if CCAE cancels your class or if changes to the class schedule prevent you from attending. This does not apply to individual classes rescheduled due to inclement weather or other signifi cant factors beyond CCAE’s control.

Withdrawing from a class

If you withdraw seven days or more before the start date of a class, we will issue you a class credit (valid for 18 months from the date of issuance). If you prefer, we will refund the class tuition minus a $10 processing fee. All refund requests must be submitted within 90 days of purchase. Withdrawals from classes and events under $25 are only eligible for a class credit; no refunds are given.

If you withdraw six days or less from the start date of a class, we do not issue class credits or refunds.

Transferring to another class

For classes that are three sessions or longer, contact the registration offi ce before the second meeting of the class in order to transfer. For one- and two-session classes, you must contact us at least fi ve business days before the start of the class. For all cooking, wine, beer, or spirit classes, you must contact us at least fi ve business days before the start of the class. If there is a diff erence in price, we will issue a class credit or there will be a remaining balance to be paid. Refunds are not given.

What our students say:

“Leda [Elliott] is a masterful teacher! She has put together a wonderful mix of Qi Jong and Tai Chi and you flow from one exercise to the next. Really a wonderful mix!” — Aldie B., Qi Flow

“Maria [Grazia Lolla]'s enthusiasm about her subject matter was apparent and she really knows about film interpretation. I was very impressed with her and reminded again of the very high quality of the teachers the center has in its Italian department. How fortunate you are and how lucky we are as well! I learned a lot in this class.” — Mary S., Cine-città: Senso: Italian Literature into Film

Harvard Square 42 Brattle Street Cambridge MA 02138 “Professor Paul [Karpuk]’s knowledge is unparalleled. He always makes the class fun and goes above and beyond to make sure that we have study materials that move the discussion along. I read this book before, and I wish that I’d waited until I took this class.” — Melanie M., The Brothers Karamazov
