PRE-LOVED BOOK SALE – ‘I Love Books’ This year Camberwell Grammar will once again be outsourcing our pre-loved book sale to I Love Books, a local bookstore in Mont Albert with a consignment selling program. Each book is graded according to its condition by I Love Books. Consignment books are kept for a maximum of 2 years. I Love Books use a store credit system, with 50% of the sale price of each book applied to your account which you can use for future purchases. Please note that the sale and purchase of books is not exclusive to CGS so you may sell and buy textbooks for other family members as well. However, the sale day on Saturday 12 December 2021 is exclusive to CGS families only. HOW TO SELL PRE-LOVED BOOKS 1. Identify and register the books you can sell Go to the I Love Books website and click “Sell”. The site has a video which explains how to identify which books can be sold. You will need to click the Seller’s Form button at the bottom of the page. In the Seller’s Form enter each book’s ISBN into the ISBN field and the status of the book will be displayed. Books with a status of “Recycle” or “Charity” cannot be sold through I Love Books. If your books have a status of “Recycle” or “Charity” then please still bring them in if they would be suitable donations to the Les Twentyman Foundation (see below). Ensure that you print and submit the Seller’s Form bundled securely with your books when you drop them off at CGS. The form is mandatory and must be completed by someone over 18 years old. 2. Prepare your books Place a ‘post-it’ sticker inside the front cover of each book stating (1) Book Title, (2) Son’s Name and (3) Son’s 2021 Year Level.
