World Changers are a group of fully committed individuals and families who prayerfully commit to give, over and above their tithes, to global missions, benevolent need, local church expansion, and next generation leaders.

The mandate of taking the Gospel to the world is the largest and greatest mission ever assigned. So, it’s fitting and encouraging that some of Jesus’ final words on earth to His disciples was a promise of power to fulfill this mission given them. Our assignment is the same .

We are to take the message of Jesus to our neighbor (our Jerusalem), to our community (our Judea and Samaria), and to our world (the ends of the earth).

Understanding this mission is not optional for us as followers of Jesus and knowing the tremendous joy which accompanies our obedience to His instruction, is what fuels us as World Changers.

As we pray, give and go on mission, the Lord is building His kingdom through us.Therefore, we plan, envision and dream about what we can do as a church to make an impact across the street and around the world in 2024 for the advancement of the Gospel.

So, I invite you to be a part of what God is doing through His church to impact our world. I want to challenge you to join us and become a Kingdom Builder.

Let us be those that continue to take Jesus to the ends of the earth.

These projects only get funded by the over-and-above giving to be a World Changer. When you give in this way, God’s marvellous Kingdom expands.

At Calvary Church, we believe that every Christ-follower is called to tithe (10%) of their full income to their local church. Being a World Changer is above and beyond our tithe. It is generous and sacrificial giving that God lays on our heart to change the world.

By God’s abundant grace and blessings, and through the sacrifice of many, we were able to give away more than any other time in our history as a church. We invested in people and organizations who are expanding (building) the kingdom of God globally, locally and in the next generation.

How is that possible? It requires a generous sacrifice from all of us. If you are new to giving or looking for ways to grow to new levels in your giving, here are some practical steps:

PLAN: When you have plans and are diligent, its beneficial (Proverbs 21:5). God is excited when you have a plan that involves blessing His kingdom. Whatever the amount is – put a plan in place, work the plan and be obedient with it. Start there.

VISION:The next step is to ask God to give you a vision for what He could do through you with His help.This is beyond what you can do in your natural income. It’s a step of faith. Additionally, Habakkuk 2:2 tells us to write that vision down and pray about it. God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Stepping out in faith pleases God.

DREAM: What would be a dream number? Hold onto the dream. Don’t tell people about it – keep it between you and God. Watch God bring you closer to the dream number.

2023 was an amazing year of blessing and fruit. We held several community outreaches, built stronger relationships with our church family. We baptised people, saw more people serving in ministry and we were blessed to take over the lower half of our church building. It was previously occupied by a company for 45 years and we were given first shot to take it over.

We sent out an email in early December to raise funds for the first phase of the project.Thanks to you guys for a HUGE donation towards our project and many other churches and families, not only were we able to raise funds for the first phase, we almost raised enough money to finish the ENTIRE PROJECT.. PRAISE GOD.

Our goal with the downstairs is to turn part of it into a NextGen space, church offices, and a Community Cafe where we are open through the week to build even more relationships in our community. God has been faithful and we are so grateful for the partnership with Calvary to make this dream become a reality.

McCarthy Mission

Plant a Church in Uruguay

Steve and Jill McCarthy serve as missionaries in Uruguay.They minister in one of the most economically and politically stable countries in all of Latin America, yet one of the hardest to reach with the gospel. Steve and Jill are involved in teaching and preparing new pastors at the Bible School and in sports evangelism, using soccer as a bridge to reach the lost.

In addition, they lead Hope for Uruguay 100, an initiative that is raising up and mentoring new church planters with the hope of establishing 100 healthy churches and building 100 sanctuaries for these new and growing congregations.

Your partnership has helped 35 new churches to be planted and 24 sanctuaries to be built, giving many Uruguayan access to a healthy church close to where they live. Please pray for them as they serve in a place historically referred to as the "Graveyard of Latin American Missions."

Patrick & Jeanne Collins

Oral Learners Initiatives and International Ministries

Patrick and Jeanne serve with Oral Learners Initiatives and International Ministries and will continue as the children’s ministry directors for Oral Learners BibleTraining Institute.They will be evolving their unique children’s ministry training materials that they developed over the last 34 years of ministry into a digital and media format to be used with Global Leadership Training. Oral Learners Initiatives is a cutting-edge ministry using an oral format to reach individuals fromThird World countries who are called into ministry but cannot read or write.

PREVIOUS MINISTRY:

Patrick and Jeanne lived and worked in Kenya and Rwanda, East Africa, for 28 years. In both countries they established a national children’s ministry department, trained national leaders, and held training seminars to equip national children’s pastors to evangelize thousands of children.

Patrick and Jeanne have held numerous children’s crusades throughout these two countries and oversaw building 140 children’s churches and a national children’s ministry training center. Patrick and Jeanne have been working with Oral Learners Initiatives and International Ministries for six years.

Our free app delivers content like sermons, worship music, devotionals, podcasts, and other spiritual growth content directly into the hands of incarcerated people all over the country.

Pando is the very first app of its kind available to people who are incarcerated. Pando makes it possible for inmates all over the country experience Christ’s love through life-changing content, 24/7, through a secure app on their provided tablets.

A Christian based organization, Adult andTeen challenge assists people in gaining freedom from chemical addictions and other life-controlling problems by addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge is committed to…

Beginning the process of Missions awareness, concern, and stewardship in young lives. BGMC challenges kids to reach the world by introducing them to the Great Commission at the earliest possible age.

At Calvary Church, we want our kids to be World Changers too.They are discipled to pray for missionaries and give towards BGMC every month.

GOAL: $10,000

We give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. Speed the Light (STL) engages, teaches, and disciples our youth in God’s mission to reach the lost!This is accomplished by creating a heart of missional generosity in students for the world's needs and our missionaries' needs. Students are challenged to sacrificially give to missions, reach the lost in their own area, and pray for missionaries around the globe. Funds raised through STL go to help missionaries travel faster, preach clearer, and be heard louder in order for all to know Jesus.

How will you take hold in 2024?

Christmas Miracle Offering

Every year, we set aside time during our Christmas season to give back to Jesus through our Christmas Miracle Offering. Because Jesus came to give His life so that ALL would know Him, we give generously to fund global and local projects.

In 2023, we collected $60,837 to be distributed in 2024 for local benevolent need.

In 2024, the start of the Christmas Offering will be Sunday, November 17th, 2024.

Goal for 2024: $75,000
