2024 has truly been a year to celebrate God’s faithfulness and the remarkable journey of Calvary Church. From transitioning leadership and continuing the legacy of our Founding Pastor, Paul Jackson, to experiencing incredible moments like Party With The Pastor, Serve Day, baptisms, Life groups providing care and ministry to the body, thousands of salvations, launching a 3rd service, and more, this year has been a testament to God’s hand upon our church. Pastor Paul Jackson laid an incredible foundation, and I am honored to build upon his legacy as your Pastor. Calvary Church, you are an amazing family—and I am deeply blessed to lead you as we serve God together.
This past year has been filled with moments that display the power of God’s work in and through His people. From stepping into new digital spaces like the Pando App to embracing opportunities for outreach, discipleship, and spiritual growth, it is evident that God is moving mightily within our community. Psalm 150:1-2 declares, “Praise the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness.” That is precisely what we aim to do as we reflect on all He has done.
As you read through the stories and statistics in this annual report, my prayer is that you don’t see numbers, but lives transformed. Every story is evidence of eternities being changed, hearts being healed, and breakthroughs happening by the power of Jesus Christ. These aren’t mere achievements; they are confirmations of the Holy Spirit at work, testimonies of faith in action, and celebrations of what it means to be the church. Together, we lift our hearts in gratitude and praise for all that God has done.
This year’s impact reminds us that Jesus is building His church, and He is using every single one of us. While we celebrate the incredible victories of this year, we also recognize that God has placed before us even greater opportunities and vision. The need to reach our community in Burlington County and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ is more urgent than ever. Together, we will continue to share His love, reach those far from Him, and see lives changed for eternity.
What God is doing at Calvary Church is not only significant but also eternal. It’s an honor to be part of a mission so close to His heart. As we move into 2025, I am filled with anticipation for what He has in store. Let’s continue to be a church where No One is Without Jesus—right here in Delran and around the world.
With gratitude and expectation,
No One Without Jesus, Pastor Dan McCarthy

What a privilege it has been to watch what the Lord has done and is doing over this last year! One year ago in January, I announced my plans to transition out of the Lead Pastor role here at Calvary. I also shared the Official Board’s decision to nominate Pastor Dan McCarthy after much prayer, discussion and preparation as the candidate for a vote of the membership in our annual meeting to become the new Lead Pastor. To my delight, Pastor Dan was elected as Lead Pastor and the church has continued to grow and go forward rather than decline or experience a mass exodus. To be perfectly honest, that was our goal! Over the years, I have watched as many churches went through the transition process to a new Pastor only to experience a time of loss and rebuilding. At the time of my announcement, we were averaging around 850 in attendance on Sunday mornings. I believe we are now averaging around 1100! I am so thankful for the Lord’s blessing on our church and the amazing things He is doing under Pastor Dan’s leadership.
It has been my privilege since my transition to a support position here at Calvary to continue the Wednesday Night LIFE Group Bible studies, as well as provide individual care and counseling, perform funerals and weddings, and preach from time to time on Sunday. I also have the privilege of attending Staff meetings and supporting Pastor Dan with continued friendship and a listening ear at his request. In addition to my role here at Calvary, I serve the New Jersey Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God as the Presbyter of the West Central South Section of our state. In this role, I oversee 18 churches and Pastors along with approximately 60 other ministers providing care, coaching and counsel in their respective roles as well as assisting new credential applicants in the pursuit of an official ministerial License with the Network. So, as you can see, I am not retired! I have transitioned! LOL Please allow me to express my deepest appreciation to the Official Board and Members of the church for your kind and generous expressions of love given to us, and to Pastor Dan for allowing me to continue to serve the Lord here at Calvary. When we came and started the church in 1985, I can’t honestly say we envisioned such a great church and church family as the Lord has given us. We love you and thank God for the wonderful privilege of serving you and being the recipients of your generosity and love. We pray many blessings to you in return.
Respectfully Submitted,
Rev. Paul D. Jackson, M.A.
In 2024, we saw incredible engagement through technology. From devotionals to podcasts and sermon series, technology allowed us to bring the peace of Christ into homes and hearts.

Dear Church Family,
As we close out 2024, I want to take a moment to celebrate all that God has done through our Kids Life and One Life Ministries this year. Our theme verse, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth” (3 John 1:4), perfectly captures the heart of these ministries. It’s been a year filled with growth, connection, and transformation as children and students have encountered Jesus and taken next steps to grow in their faith.
In Kids Life, we’ve had an incredible year of teaching, discipleship, and fun. Moving to three services has been a significant adjustment, but God has blessed us with a faithful and enthusiastic team of “Dream Teamers” who make ministry possible each week. Using the engaging and Christ-centered GO! Curriculum, we’ve been able to help kids experience the Bible in a way that’s fun, interactive, and meaningful.
Our events—like the Gingerbread Bash, Summer Olympics, and our Easter and Christmas services— were more than just moments of fun. They were opportunities to connect families, build relationships, and plant seeds of faith in young hearts. This year, we’ve seen children make life-changing decisions to follow Jesus, celebrate baptisms, and grow in their understanding of who they are in Christ.
In One Life, discipleship has been our priority, and it’s been amazing to see students grow in their faith and maturity. Small groups have been a cornerstone of this ministry, providing students with a place to be known, encouraged, and challenged. Through worship services and intentional teaching, we’ve seen students take bold steps in their relationship with God, deepening their commitment to Christ. Watching students filled with the Holy Spirit and excited to walk in truth has been one of the greatest highlights of the year.
Our retreats and events—such as camp, Fall Retreat, Winter Retreat, and Youth Convention—were transformative experiences. These times allowed students to encounter God in fresh, personal ways, and we’ve seen many accept Jesus, follow Him in baptism, and step into leadership roles. The sense of community and spiritual growth that has emerged this year has been inspiring, and I’m excited to see how God continues to work through these young leaders.
As we look to 2025, we remain committed to the vision of “No One Without Jesus.” Our mission is to continue investing in the next generation, raising up children and students who know Jesus, love Him, and are equipped to live out their faith. Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Together, we will create environments where kids and students can encounter Jesus, be discipled in His truth, and step boldly into the plans He has for their lives.
Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and support. This has been an incredible year, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to walk this journey with you. Let’s continue to believe God for even greater things in the year ahead!
In Christ, Pastor Chris

Dear Calvary Church Family,
Because of your faithful and generous giving, we have expanded our impact for God’s kingdom in remarkable ways this year. Here are just a few highlights of what God has done:
- Increased Missionary Support
We are excited to share that we have added 14 new missionaries to our monthly support.
- Greenspring, West Virginia Missions Trip
In July 2024, 24 volunteers embarked on a mission trip to Greenspring, West Virginia.
A highlight of the trip was the baptism of 24 individuals in the Potomac River, including several members of Calvary Church. Since our initial visit, church attendance in Greenspring has tripled, a testament to the power of evangelism and prayer.
- Hosted a Vacation Bible School, a women’s Bible study, and addiction counseling sessions.
- Engaged in daily door-to-door evangelism.
- Held services at Oldtown Bethel Assembly of God and South Cumberland Assembly of God, assisting with a clothing giveaway.
- Organized a Family Fun Day, complete with a barbecue and a clothing giveaway.
- Ronald McDonald House
While internal issues limited our visits this year, we were able to provide three meals for families in need. Looking ahead, we’re excited to increase our service to four visits annually in 2025, serving 44 families from around the world each time.
- Rainbow Ministries
On the second Saturday of every month, Rainbow Ministries visits six motels, providing toiletries, clothing, food, and prayer to those in need. During Thanksgiving and Christmas, we delivered over 100 Wawa turkey bowls to motel residents. However, more volunteers are needed for this ministry to grow and reach additional motels.
None of this would be possible without your unwavering generosity and prayers. Thank you for partnering with us in doing God’s work and spreading His love to those near and far. May God bless you abundantly! In His service,
Kathy Eigenbrood Missions Director
Again, this year it is a privilege to be able to report and thank God for his faithfulness and provision to us in 2024. We are also thankful to our congregation for your expression of faith through your generous and obedient giving. You have believed God and given Him honor through the giving of your finances. Respecting our past and the inheritance from our Founding Pastor, Paul Jackson, you are continuing to support the vision of our Lead Pastor Dan McCarthy and the ministries of Calvary Church.
Thanks to your generosity our Tithes & Offerings were recorded at $1,785,508, an increase of $292,997 (20%) over last year and $277,508 (18%) over budget. In December 2024, you also responded with extraordinary generosity for our Christmas Miracle Offering in the amount of $72,452. This money will be used in 2025 for benevolent needs locally and globally. In 2024 we disbursed $60,837 (collected from the 2023 Miracle Offering) for housing, food, utilities and clothing to those in need in our congregation and our local communities.
Due to God’s faithfulness, we have not only been able to meet all of our obligations, fund our ministries, purchase equipment, make renovations to our properties and improve our technology we gave away, as part of our Tithe of the Tithe, $45,339 to benevolent needs (in addition to our Miracle Offering disbursements) in our congregation and community and $140,232 to global missionary projects. Some of these projects included disaster relief including $11,332 for Hurricane Helene support, donations of $10,000 to Light for the Lost and Speed the Light, $10,000 to Convoy of Hope and $10,000 to the Men’s Teen Challenge home in New Jersey, and $5,000 to Ability Tree, a special needs ministry. We have also supported AG World Missions and Involved International for urgent projects around the world such as a $5,000 donation to Damien Zinicola to build a home church in Cuba, Builders International in the amount of $19,500 for church plants and renovations. We were able to bless our missionary Steve McCarthy in the amount of $25,000 for a church plant in Uruguay. In addition, beginning in May, we began a partnership with God Behind Bars, Inc., a prison ministry using the Pando application, which we have already seen great impact. In July we sent over 100 team members to the Philadelphia Dream Center to minister in Kensington at a cost of $7,700. In December we supported Samaritan’s Purse with a gift of $6,000 for Operation Christmas Child. Many lives have been saved, changed, encouraged, healed and helped by Calvary Church.
In the areas of maintaining and improving our facilities we purchased and installed equipment to create an overflow room to be used on Sunday mornings due to our increased attendance and we completed lighting upgrades in the sanctuary and café area. In early 2024, we completed renovations to the home where Pastor Paul and Karen now reside. This home was provided to Pastor as our Founding Pastor and in acknowledgement of his service to Calvay Church for over 38 years. The left side of the home continues to provide temporary housing for missionaries.
Our Faith Promise Offerings for Missions in 2024 were $198,675, an increase of 8% over 2023. This has enabled us to continue support of our current 124 missionaries on a monthly basis as well as respond to specific missionary appeals throughout the year. Between our Ministry Fund “Tithe on the Tithe”, supporting our missionaries as well as distributing our 2023 One Day Christmas offering, we were able to give away $428,145 or 22% of our total giving. Thank you!
We continue to remain strong financially. In an effort to manage our debt responsibly we made additional principal payments of $36,000 last year. Over the last 5 years we have made extra payments in the amount of $221,000. Our loan balance with AG Financial is currently $1,048,335.
Our Stewardship Team has worked diligently throughout 2024 to be good stewards of the funds provided, which support your trust and faith in all the programs, services and efforts of our church. It is the continuing goal of Calvary Church to instill the highest standards of accounting practice and integrity. Stewardship of Calvary’s finances requires the work of dedicated individuals. I would like to personally thank Teresa Duarte who serves as our Financial Secretary. I appreciate Teresa for her expertise, diligence and willingness to serve our congregation. A special thank you to Paul Vagnoni, who has taken on the role of Benevolence Director, and together with Ron Crognale and myself we are responsible to disburse money to those in need. I would also like to thank Ron Crognale for his role on our Stewardship Team helping me to formulate our annual budget. Going forward our new Operations Pastor,Reverend Jose Vargas, will provide an extra level of accountability in monitoring our budget. In regard to counting and safeguarding our funds, I want to acknowledge our counting teams for their many years of service counting our offerings: Ron Crognale and Lenny Groff, Beth Crognale and myself, Ken Cooper and Michael Ramsundar along with Fred Pfeffer and Bert Reilly and a thank you to Scott Hasson for his many years of service in protecting our offerings.
A very special thank you is warranted for all the volunteers who have saved us thousands of dollars by donating their time and expertise for the maintenance of our buildings and grounds. Please know that your effort contributed to the extraordinary year we had in 2024
We are so very thankful for your continued prayers, service and generous financial support as we move forward to fulfill our mission. With your gifts of love and works of faith you are laying up treasure in heaven that cannot fade, spoil or be stolen. Your giving is making a difference in people’s lives each and every week!
I continue to say year after year
“AS YOU GIVE GENEROUSLY, WE WILL MANAGE FAITHFULLY”
