Brian Johnson

We’re proud to share the successful completion of the RaDD project, a major component of the IQHQ development, which spans 17 million square feet of commercial waterfront buildings along N Harbor Drive in downtown San Diego Led by Senior Project Manager Andrew Lockhart and Project Foreman Henry Alvarez, this project is a true testamenttoteamworkandinnovation

The IQHQ project was an incredible team effort, with every department from estimating to shop and field execution playing a vital role Our scope of work expanded significantly due to Value Engineering in the design assist phase, which not only helped the owner address budget concerns but also allowed us to refine our scope for more efficient fabrication and installation

4,500 square feet of Aluminum Plate Panels, and 3,000 linear feet of Custom Wood Grain Canopy Trellis. Additionally, the project features three large Custom White Aluminum Tube Trellises, 2,300 linear feet of Aluminum Picket Railing, and 400 linear feet of Aluminum Cable Railing. The custom perforated exterior stairwell enclosure and custom copper-painted metal panels at the bike rental unit are standout elementsthataddtotheproject’s uniqueness.

MAINTERMINAL:

We’re producing and installing 265 custom interior and 29 exterior column covers, each with two sets of steel brackets. This complex work required extensive BIM coordination to integrate MEP devices like outlets, fire alarms, diffusers, and more. It’s been a challenging project, but the results are impressive

SMARTCURB:

Covering 60,000 sq ft of exterior metal plate panels, the Smart Curb project is in the engineering phase, with panels arrivinginOctober

A special thanks to Brian Pfeiler for his outstanding work on the column covers, coordinating paint, parts, and deliveries while training new team members to maintain quality Jaime Hernandez-Tovar has also been exceptional, leading the on-site crew and ensuring our high standardsandsafetyareupheld
