“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.” ~ Cicero Being part of the Calabasas community gives us the luxury to look at our surroundings and embrace all that they offer. We have a lot to be grateful for in our unique city.

GLO DRY CELEBRATES 7TH ANNIVERSARY Glo Dry – the area’s most popular Blow Dry Bar and Beauty Lounge celebrated their 7th Anniversary in Calabasas. Owner Gloria Lopez and her stylists are committed to give their clients an amazingly memorable luxury service to satisfy all their beauty needs! Recently, former Mayor James Bozajian delivered the Calabasas state of the city address. While listening, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride. Our city has grown rapidly. We are a growing community where the residents and businesses are both enthralled and excited about our future. We have truly come a long way. I wonder what the founders, the Chumash Indians, would have thought about the Kardashians? Here are some shining examples of what is great about Calabasas: • Our Calabasas football team is an 14-0 on the season. What a victory for them. Go Coyotes! They will be playing in the State Championship Semi Finals. • We have a fantastic nationally ranked school district, which attracts families to Calabasas. • Moody’s has upgraded the City of Calabasas bond credit rating to AAA. • Our streets are well-groomed with beautiful parks, a new senior center, a library, and a gorgeous city hall. • The Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center and Calabasas Country Club are top notch. • The community offers a variety of fun annual events: the Pumpkin Festival, the Calabasas Malibu Food and Wine Festival, the Calabasas Fine Arts Festival, the Calabasas Film Festival, concerts in the park and more. • We even have a city song, which, upon request, Mayor Bozajian will sing for you! The upcoming holiday season will bring further wealth and success to our community. Shoppers and restaurant goers come from all the neighboring counties and cities to enjoy our homespun offerings. We welcome their presence and, most of all, their business. Our success is the gateway to their future business. Wishing all a happy and prosperous holiday season.
