Buy direct! The Cal Poly Ticket Office, calpolyarts.org, and pacslo.org are the only official ticketing sources for our events. Watch out for third-party ticket websites that sell at inflated prices and potentially sell invalid tickets. The Ticket Office will not be able to assist with those tickets should problems arise.

Flexibility
Change in plans? Season subscribers can easily exchange tickets from one Cal Poly Arts performance to another in the 2025/26 season by just covering the difference in ticket price (pending ticket availability).
Reminder: Seating requests made during the subscription period cannot be guaranteed. Seating priority is based first on seniority of continuous renewal and then on the date the order is received.
Renewing subscribers must place orders by Sunday, July 20 to guarantee their seating priority.
*Some exceptions apply. “Center Stage” events do not qualify for the 10% discount but do count as one of the 4+ shows needed to build a subscription.

Venue Info
Cal Poly Arts performances are primarily held at the Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo (PAC), a stateof-the-art venue on the Cal Poly Campus. Venues include the 1,286-seat Harold Miossi Hall and the 200-seat Pavilion, both located inside the Christopher Cohan Center, as well as the intimate 498-seat Spanos Theatre.
PARKING
Parking in the Grand Ave. structure is included with your ticket purchase. Five-minute parking is available outside the Ticket Office window on Grand Ave. for ordering or picking up tickets.
ACCESSIBILITY
The PAC offers many services to ensure everyone can enjoy the theater including accessible seating, assistive listening, and more. A Sensory Inclusive™ certified venue, accommodations are available to guests with sensory processing needs.

Sheng Wang

Sheng Wang is a comedian, actor and writer originally from Houston, Texas. His first Netflix special, Sweet & Juicy, released in September 2023 and was produced and directed by Ali Wong. He was a featured stand-up on HBO’s 2 Dope Queens special and wrote for the ABC show Fresh Off the Boat. Sheng resides in Los Angeles and in his time off, he enjoys exploring botanical gardens and discovering new ways to snack.

Ballet Hispánico

Ballet Hispánico, the nation’s leading Hispanic/Latine dance company, celebrates Latino culture through innovative performances and education. Under Artistic Director and CEO Eduardo Vilaro, it honors founder Tina Ramirez’s legacy while expanding its artistic reach. This performance includes a collection of their renowned repertory works, including Club Havana. In this piece, choreographer Pedro Ruiz revives 1950s Havana’s vibrant nightlife, blending conga, rumba, and mambo into a dazzling reimagining of a golden era. Jake Shimabukuro

Christian Elliott plays The Mark of Zorro (1920)

Christian Elliott is a prominent concert organist, equally at home performing literature of the church and theatre. Elliott has had a major career accompanying silent film at venues including the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Stanford Theatre, and UCLA. In his San Luis Obispo appearance, Elliott will provide live accompaniment to the 1920 silent film The Mark of Zorro, a heroic tale of the masked swashbuckler. Set to the rich tones of the Forbes Pipe Organ, audiences will watch legendary silent film actor Douglas Fairbanks Sr. bring to life Don Diego Vega—a seemingly foppish nobleman in Spanish California who secretly transforms into Zorro, a daring vigilante fighting injustice. Keyon Harrold

The Kora player Lamine Cissokho is the descendant of a famous griot family whose traditions date back to the 14th century, passing traditional pieces down from generation to generation. THE PALM THEATER
Violinist and songwriter Kaoru Ishibashi (Kishi Bashi) embarks on a musical journey to explore WWII-era Japanese incarceration, cultural assimilation, and what it means to be a minority in America today. Along the way, he improvises and writes music in an effort to better understand his own identity as a bi-cultural American. Using archival footage and visual storytelling, Ishibashi creates a portrait of America from the perspective of someone caught between two worlds. This screening will be accompanied by a live Q&A with the Composer and Director, Kishi Bashi.

PASSPORT TO THE ARTS
Cal Poly Arts believes the arts should not be a luxury reserved for the privileged few, but rather, available and accessible to everyone. Our Passport program provides free or deeply subsidized access to performing arts experiences on the Central Coast to low-income and marginalized communities who have not historically had access to high-quality, live, artistic programming. This includes providing free tickets to public performances, delivering transformative performing arts workshops on and off campus, and making deeply subsidized student tickets available for the majority of Cal Poly Arts’ shows.

POLY ARTS FOR YOUTH
Poly Arts For Youth (PAFY) meets students where they are— in-school. This program takes world-renowned artists beyond the stage, into local schools providing impactful cultural and artistic experiences for K-12 students. Last season, PAFY held 10 in-person workshops or performances serving over 1,900 students. This program is free due to generous donor support.
