“Go Boldly” embodies courage, innovation, and forward momentum— values that resonate with CAI-CV’s mission of elevating the community association industry. It signals our intent to not only grow but to redefine what member engagement, advocacy, and education can look like in the years ahead.

For all events, if more than one member chooses the same event or program, the member with the higher level of corporate sponsorship will have the first right of refusal. Invitations to speak at CAI-CV events and to write feature articles for HOA Living, are made at the discretion of the committees and Chapter board and will be based on corporate sponsor level.

CLAC raises funds from all eight California chapters to educate legislators and track and advocate legislative solutions to common interest development (CID) issues. NON-MEMBER SPONSORSHIP PRICING
Non-member pricing for CAI-CV advertising and sponsorships is fifty percent (50%) more than member pricing and not eligible for payment plans. For membership information go to: www.cai-cv.org/join so you can take advantage of all the benefits that membership has to offer.

RECOGNITION
CAI-CV does its best to fully recognize sponsors at events and programs. However, recognition as described in this brochure is subject to change. Recognition in flyers may refer to electronic flyers. If recognition is mistakenly omitted, CAI-CV will offer an equal or better recognition opportunity at an upcoming event, program or in HOA Living Magazine.
CAI-CV welcomes suggestions on recognizing sponsors. Please contact the CAI-CV office at (760) 341–0559 with your ideas. To be recognized on printed materials or on the website, sponsorships must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to the event or program.
CANCELLATION POLICY
CAI-CV uses an accrual budgeting method so when an Advertising and Sponsorship Plan contract is signed and delivered, the dollars are counted as paid. CAICV committees use these dollar-commitments to plan and pay for venues and event setup. For this reason, cancellation or transferring of any advertising or sponsorships will result in a $100 administrative fee if cancelled or transferred more than 90 days prior to the event or advertising deadline. No refunds or transfers will be given for sponsorships or advertising less than 90 days prior to an event or advertising deadline.
When events are cancelled or changed due to circumstances beyond the control of CAI-CV, including a pandemic or other disasters, the Chapter will do its best to transfer sponsorships to advertising or non-event related sponsorships. The Chapter is unable to provide cash refunds.
LATE PAYMENTS
If a member needs to postpone payment, they must email a request to the CAI-CV Treasurer at caicvaccounting@cai-cv.org immediately. Unless a new payment plan has been approved, members who are 90 days late will be suspended.

To participate in the CAI-CV 2026 Advertising & Sponsorship Plan, read through the opportunities in this brochure and then turn to pages 44-52 and fill out the participation order forms and sign the contract.
TURN IN COMPLETED FORMS
Forms may be mailed or emailed to the CAI-CV office at 49950 Jefferson Street, Suite 130-117, Indio, CA 92201. Forms may also be scanned and emailed to admin@ cai-cv.org. All forms will be time–stamped when they arrive and sponsorships and advertising will be provided on a first–come, first–served basis.

PREPAYMENT IS A GUARANTEE OF SPONSORSHIP
Sponsorships are limited and sold to the first member who requests and pays for them. Members who are unable to prepay for their sponsorships may contact the CAI-CV office to be placed on a waiting list for specific opportunities. However, sponsorships will be considered sold as soon as payment is received.

CAI-CV “SUITCASING” POLICY
CAI-CV enforces a strict no-tolerance policy regarding “suitcasing,” which refers to the practice of nonsponsoring companies or individuals soliciting sales or leads at events, trade shows, in aisles or lobbies, or by promoting their services or recruiting participants for conflicting social activities.
Non-sponsoring Business Partners (e.g., vendors, suppliers), attending events as participants or speakers, are prohibited from soliciting business in any location (e.g., trade show floor, dining area, and lobby of venue) at any time during or immediately following an event. Some events in 2026 will only be available with a sponsorship. Sponsoring Business Partners, who have not purchased an exhibitor booth or other sponsorship for an event, are prohibited from soliciting business at any time during or immediately following an event.
Violators of this policy will be ejected from the event and charged the minimum sponsor rate of $300, which must be paid before registering as an attendee, exhibitor, or sponsor at any future CAI-CV events.

DATE, EVENT, AND SPONSORSHIP CHANGES
CAI-CV will make every effort to ensure that events will take place on the dates listed in this brochure. However, occasionally dates must be changed. If a date change is unacceptable to a sponsor, CAI-CV will credit the sponsor, and apply it to a future event, program or advertising.
CAI-CV committees have worked to provide our members with a comprehensive list of sponsorships; however, changes occur during the year and new sponsorships may become available. New sponsorships will be offered first to the event’s existing sponsors and then to the general membership, and sold on a first–come, first–served basis. Sponsorships are limited so that sponsors receive advertising and sponsorship value equal or greater to their financial investment. Limits on sponsorships are noted throughout the brochure in parenthesis; however, limits may change during the year. A few sponsorships are limited to a certain membership class, and some sponsorships limit the number a member may buy in a year. Please call the CAI-CV office if you would like further clarification about sponsorship limits.

Benefits of sponsorships are subject to change without notice. Cancellation or transferring of any advertising or sponsorship will result in a $100 administrative fee per occurrence if cancelled or transferred more than 90 days prior to the event or advertising deadline. CAI-CV works on an accrual basis so when you sign this contract, the chapter counts your money as paid and begins spending it to plan events. For that reason, no refunds or transfers will be given for sponsorships or advertising less than 90 days prior to an event or advertising deadline. When events are cancelled or changed due to circumstances beyond the control of CAI-CV, including a pandemic or other disasters, the Chapter will do its best to transfer sponsorships to advertising or non-event sponsorships. The Chapter is unable to provide cash refunds. Some sponsorships show limits; however, these limits may change. All sponsorships are confirmed on a first–come, first–served basis. A signed contract or prepayment is required to guarantee all sponsorships and advertising. If payment is not received on time, sponsorships may be sold to others. All prices quoted are CAICV member pricing. Non–member pricing is an additional 50% over the printed price. If purchasing on-line, you must be signed in to see member pricing. To be recognized as a Corporate Sponsor, selections for 2026 and Awards in 2026 must aggregate a total of $1,000 or more, and this contract must be signed and received by the CAI-CV office by February 28, 2026. Advertising and sponsorships must be prepaid in full by March 31, 2026. When events are cancelled or changed due to circumstances beyond the control of CAI-CV, including a pandemic or other disasters, the Chapter will do its best to transfer sponsorships to advertising or nonevent related sponsorships. As a nonprofit, CAI-CV is unable to provide cash refunds.

Who Can Serve?
• CAI-CV members in good standing are eligible to serve.
• To serve, submit the Committee Volunteer Form electronically to the executive director.
• Members may serve on more than one committee.
• All committees strive to have homeowner leaders, managers, and business partners represented.
• Volunteers are always welcome and are expected to serve a minimum of three hours per month.
• Committees meet monthly via Zoom, and volunteers may miss up to three meetings.
Who Leads the Committees?
• Each committee has a leadership team chosen by the Chapter president.
• Leadership: Board Liaison, Committee Chair, and one or more Committee Co-Chairs.
• Committee leaders are part of the Chapter’s Professional Strategic Leadership Program.
• Committee leadership is required by CAI-CV bylaws prior to running for the Chapter board.
• Members interested in serving in a leadership capacity should contact the executive director.
