OBSERVATIONS Quite a few kilometres of the route are along tarmac, but with little traffic. The landscape is rather bare and it is not recommended to do the route when it is hot. The descent from Las Monjas estate is hazardous. The descent to the Villalones roadside restaurant is also dangerous.
