readiness, interests, and motivation when planning and teaching differentiated lessons. Classes are small, so that teachers can provide individual and small group instruction with an emphasis on social and emotional needs. Students recognize that they are responsible for their own learning, that they learn as much from each other as from the teacher, and that there are many paths to an answer. Students exhibit a love of learning and a curiosity about the world around them that is nurtured throughout the years. When students move into the Middle School, they are well on their way to being lifelong learners.
