為對象，出版「什麼玩藝兒」一書，他們的故事與歷程讓人雋永 且值得一再回味。

今年再以 21 位臺東縣內藝文工作者及團體為對象出版

「什麼玩藝兒 2」，不論當初進入藝術創作領域的動力或機緣 為何？是長年在地耕耘亦或是調整腳步再出發，一路走來始終 如一的心境，為臺東擁有多元樣貌的藝文資源帶出另一股激勵 人心卻又有底蘊的暖流，他們的故事值得您再次品味。

I am, Therefore I Create: Ode to 21 Artists

In 2015, the Taitung County Government published

a book entitled What the Hell Is Art to introduce a total

of 21 artists and arts groups based in Taitung. Their resounding stories are worth being read time and again.

This year, What the Hell Is Art II is to be published.

It includes the stories of 21 more artists and arts groups of Taitung, about why and how they decided to make

art. Some have always been in this field, while others joined the cultural and arts community halfway. But they all persist. Their experiences are inspiring and

their hard work has made Taitung’s cultural and arts

database more diverse. You are cordially invited to savor their stories in this book from time to time.

遠颺 ，南方之歌 民國 93 年，「Mihumisag 祝 福 你」專

輯榮獲金曲獎最佳製作人獎，這張專輯的特 殊之處，在其每銷售一張專輯，即從中撥出 50 元做為霧鹿兒童教育發展基金。

Wulu Mist: Hu Chin-niang In 2004, a musical album entitled “Mihumisag”

from Taitung won the Best Producer Award from the

Golden Melody Awards. With each of the copies sold, NT$50 goes to the Wulu Children’s Education Fund.

92 年，國際知名的大提琴家 David Darlin 受邀到臺東海端鄉

霧鹿村為「Mihumisag 祝福你」專輯創作與編曲，現場採集、編寫

和錄音的模式非常少見，「The voice comes from the earth!」， 當時 他如此讚嘆布農族的歌聲，而共同參與此專輯製作的在地人 有胡金娘老師及布音團團長余 錦虎。專輯中一曲「Wulu Mist」由 David Darlin 獨奏獻給胡金娘。

­Earlier on in 2003,

internatioally renowned

cellist David Darling was

invited to compose songs for the album in Wulu

Village, Haiduan Town-

ship, Taitung County. Two important local figures

helped to produce album,

Hu Chin-niang and director of the Bunun Traditional

Music Band Tu Chin. The

team took a rare approach: They wrote and record a

song right on the site where the musical materials were gathered. Hence the cel-

list exclaimed, “The voice

comes from the Earth!” As a tribute to Hu Chinniang,

David Darling played “Wulu Mist” in the album.

作的專輯與紀錄片推出後，霧 維也納、保加利亞等國的邀約， 在各方出資 協 助下，胡 金 娘帶 著霧鹿國小的孩子出國公演， 在半個月內每天排滿了演出場

子們也到日本演唱，雖然她因 趟行程，但能看到孩子們因為 出國表演 而更有自信，已然 心 滿意足。

Soon after the album

and the documentary

were released, Wulu Elementary School received invitations from the

Czech Republic, Austria

and Bulgaria. With finan-

cial support from various organizations, Hu Chinniang and her students flew to Europe to give

performances. There they sang every day, for two

weeks in a row. Last year (2015), the teenagers of

Wulu Junior High School

also went to Japan to sing.

Hu did not accompany

them to Japan this time, due to health problems.

But she was content to

know the students have

become more confident after the show.

臺 東 市 Taitung City

臺東市為臺東縣的政經中心，地理位置居中，交通、食宿較便利，

旅客除了搭乘大眾交通工具外，也能在臺東火車站外輕易地租賃旅 遊所需的汽機車。

Taitung City is the political and economic center of

Taitung County, with its central location and convenient transportation, accommodation and boarding. In addi-

tion to taking public transportation, passengers can also easily rent motorbikes for travel outside Taitung Railway Station.

中央山脈不僅在地理環境上阻隔了臺灣東西部的交流，也在文

化上形成天然的屏障，因而使臺東成為世外桃源，旅人可以輕易發覺

這裡的生活步調與氛圍迥異於臺灣其他地區，也因此形成獨有的魅 力，約在 1990 年以後，許多厭倦在都市裡緊湊生活的人們開始了一

波島內移民，其中，不少藝文界人士來到臺東並 定居，他們為臺東帶來一些新面貌， 也讓臺東愈來愈迷 人。

The Central Mountains not only blocked the

exchanges between eastern and western Taiwan in terms of geographical environment,

but also formed a natural barrier in culture.

As a result, Taitung became a paradise. Trav-

elers can easily find that the pace of life and

atmosphere here are very different from other

areas in Taiwan. Unique charm. After about 1990, many people who were tired of living in compact

cities in the city began a wave of immigration to the island.

Among them, many people from the art and cultural circles came to Taitung and settled. They brought some to Taitung.

The new look also makes Taitung more and more charming.

Taitung City

著 名 小 吃 —米 苔 目 Famou s S na cks-Rice

米苔目是以米為原料，製成像麵條一樣的傳統食物，。臺東因過去

成功鎮盛產柴魚，因此鹹米苔目的湯頭裡常拌入大量柴魚片，加上肉臊、 油蔥的香，共譜成鮮香美味的臺東米苔目。

Rice moss is made from rice and made into traditional

food like noodles. Taitung is rich in firewood in the past.

Therefore, salty rice moss soup heads are often mixed with a large amount of firewood fillets, combined with the flavor of meat scallions and shallots.

一 嚐 原 住 民風 味 — 阿 粨

A ta s te o f t h e ab ori g i nal flavor-A bay

阿粨是以原住民傳統主食小米製成，與漢人的粽子相似，風味卻大

不相同；最外層是香氣十足的月桃葉，第二層是柔軟可食的甲酸漿葉，

最後是小米包裹著肉塊，是排灣族和魯凱族在重要場合中才會出現的 食物。現在在市區就可以買到。

A bay is made from millet, a traditional staple food of the

aboriginal people, which is similar to Chinese zongzi, but the flavor is very different. Meat is a food that only appears on Pai-

wan and Rukai on important occasions. It is now available in urban areas.
