to our sale brochure for the

83rd Annual Williams Lake Bull Show & Sale, April 16 & 17, 2020 in Williams Lake B.C.. This book will provide information on each bull that we have consigned to the sale. We stand behind each bull we sell. If there are any questions or if you would like to come and see the bulls for yourself before the sale, please feel free to call, e-mail, message, or pop in any time, we will be happy to help.

Calves

at C-Jay Ranch are not creeped fed or given any special treatment.

Their weaning weights are true weights on what the cow’s milking ability is and what the calf’s growth can do. After weaning they are put on a simple ration of 4 to 6 pounds of oats and barley which allows them to grow at their own pace throughout the winter. As yearling bulls they spend the summer on grass and then put back on a barley ration in October/November. We do this so we can watch the natural growth in these bulls and to insure the conformation stays true and correct. Our bulls are held to a high standard and we do our culling at home so that only our best come to the sale.

This

This guy is smooth from front to back and that is one of the many reasons we kept him for another year. Very complete and with a low birth weight. He covered his group of females out on 400 acres. He has an awesome temperament and you might be seeing bulls from him in two years from us. We start calving in April so we will update you on his calves at the sale.

This guy has been a thick bull from day one! Off of a first calver, he has done great and he didn't lose a pound at weaning, 7F has awesome conversion and natural muscling, all with a 70 pound birth weight. He was the reason we purchased a half brother from Bieber Red Angus Ranch. His grandsire, Bestbuy 114B, has produced females that have perfect udders with lots of milk, and great conformation. We really like the cross we get with the Spartacus and Bestbuy daughters.

This guy has been a stand out since birth and has done nothing but impress us. With using a young AI sire you never know what will happen and Jindra Acclaim was a great gamble. We can’t wait to get more calves from him. 10F’s dam, for being young, has proven herself as a bull maker like her mother. She has weaned her bull calves in the top 3% of our herd. 10F’s dam has a great udder, feet, and conformation plus the conversion from the Rough Rider bloodline.

10F will for sure put the pounds on his calves.

Here's a compact package! This guy is from one of our home grown bulls, C-Jay 18U Hoover Dam 2D (sold to Bar K Ranch, Prince George B.C.) and he is the spiting image of his sire. Lots of muscling and guts for conversion. He is an easy keeper plus perfect bone and stretch for calving ease. He comes from a first calver and she did a good job. Bestbuy 114B females continue to be a great addition to our herd.

He was up and nursing in minutes and hasn’t stopped growing. His dam has two powerful bulls in her pedigree and it shows in her calves. 15F’s sire was another great son from Bestbuy 114B with growth and muscling. He will work great to get size into your herd.

This young bull is from a heifer and has done well for no special treatment. He was weaned at 5 months with the rest of the calves and his yearlong weight at 10 months of age with the rest of the yearlings. He has shown the growth that the Hoover Dams are famous for with the muscling and bone from the Magic Mike bloodline on his dam side.
