Welcome to this year’s brochure for our consigned bulls
86th Annual Williams LakeBull Show & Sale, April 13 & 14, 2023 in Williams Lake B.C.. This will provide information on each bull that we have consigned to the sale. We stand behind our bulls. Calves at C-Jay Ranch are not creeped fed or given any special treatment.
Their weaning weights are true weights on what the cow’s milking ability is and what the calf’s growth can do. After weaning they are put on a simple ration of 4 to 6 pounds of oats and barley which allows them to grow at their own pace throughout the winter. As yearling bulls they spend the summer on grass and then put back on a barley ration in October/November. We do this so we can watch the natural growth in these bulls and to ensure the conformation stays true and correct. Our bulls are heldto a high standard and need to make weights and performance milestones to be ready for sale.

This guy has done fantastic for coming from a first calver. He is another son from 718E that has a smooth front end for calving ease and he does not give up on growth. His dam has a strong female line behind her, with awesome feet, udder, and muscling.

4J is a smooth bull with tremendous muscling and growth. His dam has repletely gave us great bulls that have those traits, along with perfect conformation and deep bodied.

This genetic combination of Spartacus and Mulberry really hit the mark! 8J is real herd bull material in a moderate, well built package. 8J comes from strong maternal heritage. His dam is from our Allie cow family, she exhibits tons of capacity and superb udder structure.

12J is from another strong female line, with the Hoover Dam and the Bismarck in his pedigree. This bull has always stood out as a calf and now as a 2 year old. This guy has the beautiful front end for calving ease that Spartacus are famous for and he doesn’t give up on his growth. His full brother was the Reserve Champion Angus bull at the Lakes District Fall Fair 2022.

What a great mixture of the Spartacus and Hoover Dam. Nice compact bull with perfect bone and stretch from the Spartacus and the compacity and muscling you find on the Hoover Dams.

Every year select heifers are for sale. Unfortunately we cannot
keep them all. Our heifers are from strong female bloodlines with generations of our breeding behind them.
We have both registered and commercial calves.
