MAUREEN GREEN ’86 parent of Lauren Haag ’17 “When Lauren was younger, I told her about my experience of moving to Fort Myers at Christmas time in my junior year of High School. I was very anxious to be attending a brand new school without knowing a single person. On my first day I was a bundle of nerves. My nerves quickly calmed down as I was welcomed into my new school by the friendly staff, teachers and other students. Everyone was so nice and made me feel at home and part of the family. I always knew that if I was living in town and I had a child, I would be sending them to Bishop Verot Catholic High School, with its wonderful academic program with a loving Christian atmosphere. I am a proud alumnus and so glad my daughter will be graduating from BVHS this year! Go Verot!” RUSTI CLINGER ’89 parent of Katie ’10, Emma-Lee ’11, Madison ’18, and Abigail ’19

“My mom was the real passion behind our love of Bishop Verot. She saw the value in a Catholic education and made countless sacrifices to ensure all of my brothers and sisters attended. My girls will round out 13 family members (my brothers, sisters and their children) having graduated from Verot. Sending my four daughters to

Bishop Verot has been a blessing, as for us it is our family. Katie and Emma-Lee have both successfully graduated college and are independent women, both with a focus on giving back to their communities, which was a foundation given to them while attending Verot. Madison and Abigail are both currently growing academically and spiritually thanks to the guidance and support they received daily from the Viking team of teachers and staff. Being able to watch all four girls develop into the young women they are, I know is because of the nurturing, caring, and supportive environment Verot provides. Verot means Family.” KELLEEN LINDEN-SCHRICKEL ’82 parent of Brianna ’12, Kayla ’15, and Shavonne ’20

“There was no doubt in 1982 when I graduated from Bishop Verot my children would be attending Verot someday. Verot provided me an excellent education allowing me to graduate from Barry University in Miami with a degree in Psychology and two Masters in Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a Ph.D. from Nova University. Bishop Verot gave me the tools to excel academically. Bishop Verot also left a lasting impact on me spirituality. Father Mark was a deacon who came to Verot my freshman year and became a priest as we graduated. He is an amazing person who helped us all grow spiritually and even returned to the area to officiate my wedding. In addition, I made many lifelong friends at Verot including my now
