The study intends to investigate the perception of Hong Kong Shoppers regarding the service and product satisfaction. Thus, this study will determine the complaint behavior of Hong Kong shoppers. For this study, primary research and secondaryresearch will be used. Moreover, the descriptive research method will be utilized. In this method, it is possible that the study would be cheap and quick. It could also suggest unanticipated hypotheses. Nonetheless, it would be very hard to rule out alternative explanations and especially infer causations. Thus, this study will use the descriptive approach. Measurement
First, the respondents shall fill out a self–administered questionnaire. Ideally, the respondents will grade each statement in the survey–questionnaire using a Likert scale (Barnett, V. 1991), with a five–response scale wherein respondents will be given five response choices.
The equivalent weights for the answers will be: Range Interpretation 4.50 – 5.00 Strongly Agree
3.50 – 4.49 Agree
2.50 – 3.49 Uncertain
1.50 – 2.49 Disagree
0.00 – 1.49 Strongly Disagree
The researcher opted to use the questionnaire as a tool since it is easy to construct having the rules and principles of construction are easy to follow. Moreover, copies of the questionnaire could reach a considerable number of respondents either by mail or by personal distribution. Generally, responses to a questionnaire are objectified and standardized and these make tabulation easy. But more importantly, the respondents' replies are of their own free will because there is no interviewer to influence them. This is one way to avoid biases, particularly the interviewers' bias. Research Proposal : Gender Equality
Research Proposal: Gender Equality in America
For my research project, I would like to show the evolution of gender equality that has occurred in American society in the workplace. The disparity of status and privileges between men and women has existed since the end of the World War II. Although America has made progress concerning the acceptance of social issues such as same sex relationship and marriage, people are still unwilling to acknowledge that gender inequality is still rampant among our society. Gender equality hasn't been achieved yet, particularly in corporate America that has an insignificant number of women in the upper ranks; fewer women occupy a post of chief executive officer, chief financial officer, or any other leading positions. For my research question I will be asking: "How is America making progress on gender equity?" Fundamentally, I believe that women are still misrepresented, and are still facing many challenges in the workplace, especially in the business world. The gender stereotypes play a considerable role in the way the society sees women as leaders. However, it will be judicious to consider the small but noticeable changes that have been made over the past years concerning gender equality in the American workplace. The research on the evolution of gender equality is related to my success, because as a women business major, it is my responsibility to be aware of the issues women face in the business world, dominated by men.

Crime Research Proposal
RESEARCH PROPOSAL EXAMPLE 4. THIS PERSON RECEIVED A "9.8" INTRODUCTION
Micheal Gottfredson and Travis Hirschi's general theory of crime purports to be able to predict all crime at all time and that a person's level of self–control is determined and unchangeable by age eight. This researcher saw this theory as an awfully broad statement and an extremely pessimistic view of human nature. By this logic, a person with a low score on the selfcontrol construct would be almost guaranteed to commit crime given the appropriate opportunity and little can be done to change that behavior. This researcher proposes that self–control can be learned and bolstered later in life through extensive behavior modification programs that work to curb the...show more content...
Self–control theory enthusiasts claim that the characteristics of those with self–restraint are not well–matched with the elements that characterize criminal and deviants acts (Gibbs et al 1998), consequently this researcher hypothesizes that increasing self–control and restraint through behavior modification will make criminal sexual opportunity less appealing and therefore decrease recidivism.
Dr. Lane, Research Proposal Ex 4, Spring 2001, page 2
The general theory of crime is relatively new and controversial theory in the realm ofcriminology. Micheal Gottfredson and Travis Hirschi published A General Theory of Crime in 1990 and it went on to become the second most cited book in the entire 1990s (Pratt and Cullen, 2000). Their theory is based on the argument, not unlike Hirschi's social bonding theory that criminal activity is gratifying and the key to understanding participation in crime is discovering what prevents people from breaking the law. They contend that committing crime and other analogous behaviors (drinking, gambling, drug use, reckless driving, and unsafe sexual practices) start manifesting in conduct problems early in life. The term "low self–control" is used to describe the enduring "criminality" or "criminal propensity" that increases the likelihood that individuals will be unable to resist the easy, immediate Get

Project Proposal: Effects of Climate Change
The final research paper generated from the Project Proposal: Effects of Climate Change will discuss the question, what Americans can do to reduce climate change health effects? Various research publications by credible sources advise, global warmingclimate change has an affect on human health. Climate change and the impact on human health can be connected through direct or indirect variables.
The Importance
I feel as though if we start at a young age then we will encourage more young people to start making some positive changes in their lives. This is an important issue to me because global warming is an issue that just about everyone. Not enough people take the climate change situation...show more content...

A myth being said is that global warming is normal and that because civilization has survived droughts and temperature shifts before, we can all adapt to climate change. What I want my readers to learn, as well as myself, is that these current climate changes will bring major hardships and economic dislocations. I want my readers to be able to really learn something from my research. I hope they can learn the importance of global warming and the effects it has on everyone. At the end of this research paper, we should all have a better understanding of what exactly global warming is, what is causing the changes in the climate, and changes we can all make to prevent these causes.

Training Strategy Proposal
Training and development imply changes, particularly changes in knowledge, skills, attitudes, or social behaviors, and although many strategies exist for effecting change, training and development are common and important ones. Organizations exist everywhere and with each organization it has its own set of objectives to function effectively. To have an organization function effectively, the organization must subdivide its overall objectives into various jobs. Jobs differ in their requirements, similarly, people differ in aptitudes, abilities, and interests, and along many other dimensions. Faced with such variability in jobs and their requirements on the one hand, and with people and his or her individual...show more content...
This involves breaking down barriers, sharing information, using a collaborative approach to problem solving, and orienting employees toward continuous learning and improvement. Leaders who are to transform employees to bring out his or her creativity, imagination, and best efforts require well–developed interpersonal skills, founded on an understanding of human behavior in organizations. Therefore, because training and development activities are planned programs of organizational improvement, and it is important that the programs are planned as thoroughly as possible, since the ultimate objective is to link training content to a desired job behavior (Cascio & Aguinis, 2011).
A five–step process should be considered as Kudler strategizes on a training and development program. The first consideration would be to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the training and development system, including the system's interaction with other organizational systems. Kudler's second step to consider would be to determine training needs and specify training objectives clearly and explicitly. The third consideration for Kudler would be to create an optimal environment for training, decomposing the learning task into its structural components. The last two considerations for Kudler would be to determine an optimum sequencing of the components, and to find other options for learning. Paying close

RE: Proposal for Final Project
I request that you accept my topic for the Writing 465 final project. Hopefully, I will be able to use this project to help alleviate the current parking problem at WinthropUniversity. Jack Allen, from Campus Police, and Walter Hardin, Associate Vice President for Facilities Management, have shown interest in my project.
BACKGROUND

After years more of complaining, they decided to add a parking garage to their campus. Although this garage eliminated 200 spaces, it added 613. The price of this garage was $5.5 million. Arkansas State used the parking deck, as well as the reserved parking system to help alleviate their situation. Many other campuses utilize the same systems, such as: University of Cincinnati, University of Iowa, University of Louisville, University of Pittsburgh, University of South Florida, University of Tennessee, University of Wisconsin, and many more. There are currently only a handful of reserved spaces on campus, and the ground has yet to be broken for the construction of the parking deck. In fact, Winthrop University does not even have all the funds needed to build this parking deck. When I approached Jack Allen, of Campus Police, with my idea of reserved parking spaces, he told me that he thought it was a good idea. Walter Hardin, when given the same idea, seemed to think that the reserved parking system would not realistically work out but was open to the proposal.
PROPOSED PROJECT
I am planning to find the funding needed to establish reserved parking at Winthrop University through Campus Police and the current traffic and parking system. Hopefully, Winthrop University and Campus Police will recognize the need and responsibility to fund these reserved parking spaces. My report will

A Research Proposal On Suicide Essay
Statement of Interest
Suicide by cop commonly abbreviated as SBC is a topic that embraces a self–explanatory name. However, for the purpose of this research proposal, a conceptual definition will provide a better direction in the questions to be asked and addressed in searching for Scholarly articles. The working definition is, someone who intentionally puts himself in a circumstance where they are deemed as a lethal threat to society or police officials. Taking the necessary actions to put themselves in immediate danger by forcing officers to take action in using lethal force to stop what is considered to be an imminent threat. The end result is suicide. Whether the reason for suicide is that the person was afraid to intentionally inflict pain on himself, or religious reasons that came into question when deliberately taking one's own life. It is never something easily accepted by an officer. With the many causes and effects of SbC the focus of this research proposal will address what kind of individuals pose the most threat to society and police officers in instances of SBC. Additionally, what features make them dangerous and how to be able to identify these features? In other words, are there things set in place to help officers combat against scenarios of SBC. As well as what are the negative outcomes of SBC and what kind of help can be provided for the officers affected by these traumatic instances.

A Research Proposal On Electrical Vehicles
Executive summary Electrical vehicles technology has been present for a while and is a proven technology that need only reshaping to meet the global need. Though, in the past, the technology had failed to compete with the internal combustion engine due to initial cost, the technology has done well in the past few years. Electric vehicle ability to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases like carbon and carbon dioxide and the advantages it enjoys such as low maintenance and running cost can enhance it market competitiveness. However, as experts try to make its charging system more efficient and its ability to store charge more long lasting, the global need continue to rise. The research proposal, therefore, aim at addressing an issue like government involvement can enhance improved use of EV, development of better EV batteries, energy management system and fast charging can help enhance the use of Electrical Vehicles and how electric vehicle drive train and the battery can be redesigned to make it affordable.

The implementation of an integrated medical records and billings system would offer several opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of patient care. First, the data would be entered at the source and become immediately available to all doctors and medical staff in the Northland Medical Group. All treatment each patient receives would be consolidated in one digital medical record. This would eliminate entirely the copying and physical transfer of medical records. Redundancy would be reduced and accuracy would be increased giving the patient access to enhanced medical care. Lab results would be available immediately upon completion of the diagnostic testing allowing treatment to begin as much as two days earlier. Integrated records management will allow proper medical codes to be assigned immediately as the data is entered at the source. This would insure that an accurate and current billing statement would be available in real–time. A group Counseling Project Proposal– sample INTRODUCTION
What is Group Counseling?
Purpose of the group counseling varies from group to group. It can be therapeutic, educational, or helping people to make fundamental changes in their way of thinking, feeling and behaving (Corey, 2004, p. 7). Group counseling/therapy has the advantage of being more effective than individual therapy because, it more closely stimulates social interactions and interpersonal communication patterns than does individual counseling (Kottler, 2004, p. 260). The techniques and strategies use in group counseling are to help resolve members' interpersonal conflict, promote greater self–awareness and insight, and help them work to eliminate their self–defeating...show more content...

The most recent survey of homeless individuals conducted January 29, 2014 revealed 958 homeless adults with no dependants, 70 of which were completely unsheltered, and an additional 130 homeless adults who also had dependent children with them. 208 of these homeless adults are chronically homeless (HUD's 2014 Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Programs, Populations, and Subpopulations, 2014).Wayside Christian Mission reaches approximately 7,000 homeless individuals annually (Wayside Christian Mission, 2007). In the Journal of General Internal Medicine, a majority of homeless individuals surveyed stated that they felt discriminated against or that they received lesser care because of their poverty or homelessness (Wen, Hudak, & Hwang, 2007). Homeless and impoverished individuals suffer from high rates of depression, psychiatric illness, alcohol and or substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, TB, Trauma, preterm birth, COPD, low birth weight, musculoskeletal problems, decreased access to care, foot problems, malnutrition, and high Emergency Room utilization (Stanhope & Lancaster, 2014). Abstract
There is an ongoing debate regarding the potency of the new health care reform–Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act–from the outset of its proposal. Many attempts had been presented in the past years but the root of the issue remains prevalent today, that there is a lack of quality in its delivery and the cost of care is continuously increasing beyond national economic edges. In this manuscript, we will discuss several factors that can positively sway the long–term significance, impact, and structure of the United States health care system. Many are wondering whether the Universal Coverage, to which will give more control and...show more content...
Furthermore, if most key players in the system fail to reach an agreement upon what the society want, determine the most prevalent medical needs, and the nature of methodology that will most likely become successful, then no system will ever properly evaluate and execute a satisfactory reform (Wyrwich, Frueh, Abernethy & Grueger, 2012).
The Problems with the Current System Absolutely, the issues relating healthcare affordability and access remains the most pressing concerns. Nonetheless, this has been the case for the most part of 20th century. Perhaps a fresh look at the system to which emphasizes on the special needs of a complex society can bring the most positive change. In systematic terms, the problem with the current structure is that prevention takes time, whereas, political progressions are short–range (McLaughlin & McLaughlin, 2008). Therefore, incentivizing prevention under the current system is almost impossible for the reason that when individuals engage in preventive programs, the continuation of accrued benefits will most likely be compromised or written out in its entirety. Such dilemma is the main concern; hence, cultivating a more consistent preventive care system is the most pressing need (Wyrwich et al., 2012). The future of healthcare if left as is, the system will falter and eventually, a new reform will be realized as necessitous (Garman, Butler , & Brinkmeyer, 2006). When the system proposed fail to meet

Project Proposal INTRODUCTION
Topic and Purpose
This proposal identifies the need for a document, which will propose and develop reasons why a for–profit transportation service for Kent should be perused. This service should be considered because of the recent parking and commuting problems both on and off campus.
There have been many reasons why on–campus parking has become difficult in recent years. Increased student enrollment at Kent State University has posed many problems. I believe that health care should a lot cheaper for elders. I believe that elders should receive discounts on their prescriptions and this proposal would take care of that. This health care proposal would make health care cheaper for elders by reducing the cost of prescriptions and doctor visits. This health care plan also eliminates health care for the people who do not need and gives medical attention to the ones who do need it. For example, the people who have long–term illnesses, but cannot pay for it because they cannot afford it or it is not in their current health care plan. The people who do have long–term illnesses in their health care plan, but do have a long–term illness would no longer have to pay for it, unless they became ill. This would help people realize what they are paying for and what they are not paying for. This proposal also proposes that kids who are suffering from long–term illnesses get paid so much money a year for health care expenses, well their parents or guardians would receive the money and the money could be used for bills or health

Science Applications International Corporation
Self–Development Process at SAIC
Introduction Science Applications International Corporation has long enjoyed a very focused and substantive self–development program. However, the self–development program for individual employees is guided by management determination of where the employee best fits into the organization. This suggests a mid–level, management centric approach to employee self–development. The challenge for SAIC is to create a systems approach for self–development that allows significant latitude for the employee to chart their unique, self–development strategy. SAIC does not allow the employee to develop a...show more content...
By and large, employees have stated that management is too focused on task execution and not enough on developing subordinates. Access to management is difficult within SAIC. The hierarchical structure of the company promotes a disconnected workforce. The consequences of SAIC leadership not recognizing employee perceptions could prove to be severe. Employee turn–over is high within many sectors of SAIC. This trend will continue if SAIC leadership does not empower their employees with more self determination in self–development.
Desired Future State The ideal state for self determination in the area of self–development is to allow the individual employee maximum latitude in accessing, enrolling, and completing three to four self–development modules annually. Many of these courses take an hour to complete on–line. SAIC leadership should cover the hours used for each employee through general overhead dollars. Although this would prove to be costly, it would save the company millions in the long run. As an alternative, employees could take these classes on their own time, if the overhead costs proved too high. Most employees would not think twice about bettering themselves by giving up four hours of time annually. SAIC is on the verge of transitioning to become a learning organization. The sheer size of the company is a major obstacle however. In 2013, SAIC will split into two distinct companies.
