A TRADITIONAL & REPUTATABLE LOCAL, FAMILY-ORIENTED CRICKET & SOCIAL CLUB
Established in 1909, Fulwood and Broughton Cricket Club (F&BCC) has a recognised tradition and reputation for being a local, family-oriented cricket and social club.
Clubmark accredited and ECB affiliated, F&BCC is a truly welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment and a hub for over 400 members and thousands of visitors each year, promoting community spirit, a safe place to make friends and enjoy sporting and social activities.
Over the last decade, we have expanded our cricket significantly, offering;
• 4 senior weekend
• 3 T20/midweek teams
• a thriving junior section
• a growing women and girls’ section
Junior Programme
Our junior programme comprises over 200 hundred male and female participants, from ages 5 to 17 and has an excellent development record. In recent years, our players have represented other clubs in New Zealand and Australia, while we have welcomed those from Sri Lanka, Australia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India into our senior teams.
Additionally, we are the home for regional age group matches and annual primary schools’ festivals, organized by ourselves and the local School Games Organiser.
As a continually developing club we are looking for new partners, and sponsors to help facilitate our vision and support the continual progress of facilities for community use.
Community Club
As a community club, we can provide a social/meeting facility for other organisations needing a place to convene for sporting, training, or social purposes and our function room is available for hire, for events such as christenings, funeral receptions, retirements, and birthday parties.
In recent years, the club has invested heavily in facility improvement. We have acquired adjoining acreage, developed a new car park, seating and spectating areas and installed an electronic scorebox, an accessible toilet/baby changing facility, a multifaith room and a first-class four bay astroturf practice facility.

Your products and services would also be immediately brought to the attention of over four hundred members and their families.
With an active social committee organising events, the club hosts numerous well-attended functions throughout the year, open to the local community, including a beer festival, bonfire night, family fun night, golf day, President’s Day, live bands, and wine tasting.
The club has an active social media presence with nearly 2,000 active followers on X, 900 on Facebook, and 800 on Instagram. Our posts can also be circulated via local press and online media such as What’s On Preston where the reach is over 50,000.

A new feature for 2025 will see our cricket matches livestreamed through YouTube. Sponsors will be promoted through all these channels.

The club is governed by a 16 strong committee who ensure the club operates in the best interests of members and the local community. We are compliant with all national governing body, legal, safeguarding and financial regulations, evidenced partly by our Clubmark status.
