With guest artists Elyane Laussade and Tracey Roberts • Rossini Thievish Magpie Overture • Beethoven Piano Concerto No.1 The Nicholas Chamber Orchestra returns to Burrinja after their successful 2013 season to present a special one off concert to launch the Classical Tracks program – a full winter of Sunday afternoon fine music across the Yarra Ranges. Under the baton of Eric Klay, this stunning program of classical music will include Thievish Magpie Overture by Rossini, Piano Concerto No.1 by Beethoven featuring soloist – Elyane Laussade, followed by a one-off collaboration between local favourite Tracey Roberts and the Nicholas Chamber Orchestra. Tracey will be singing a collection of jazz standards as well as one of her own original compositions.

Patrons requiring assistive listening Hearing loop technology is available at Burrinja and The Memo for patrons that require assistive listening. Consult with venue staff for further information. Physical Access Culture Tracks 2014 events are accessible for people who use wheelchairs or who have limited mobility. Yarra Ranges’ cultural facilities have been created with access for all, whether patrons are attending or participating. (The Arts Centre, Warburton has some restrictions). Lifts are available at Burrinja (from the car park) and inside Yarra Ranges Regional Museum and The Memo. Yarra Ranges welcomes guide dogs at all cultural facilities.

Companion Card Yarra Ranges Council with Burrinja offers a second ticket at no cost to Companion Card holders who purchase tickets for Culture Tracks events. Not available for internet bookings. The carer’s card must be presented at the venue.
