Masonite Corporation is offering a 25year g'uarantee against hail damage to its X-ninety hardboard siding products, an industry first.

Citing "the rrrggedness and extreme dent resistant qualities" of the X-ninety line, the company said that it will henceforth guarantee the base material of the following products for a quarter of a century:

X-ninety lap, V-grooved panel, Panelgroove, and panel siding; Ruf-X-ninety lap, panel, and grooved sidings; and Sunline siding.

Masonite X-ninety sidings have been installed on more than a half million homes in the past six years.
