Mr. Acuff witnessed the dedication of the new executive office building of the Research Society. It was constructed by means of cash and material donations received from the forest products industries. It is made almost entirely of wood and demonstrates many of the unusual wavs in *hi.h wood can be used in building construction
An estimated 150 persons attended the dedication ceremonies of the new FPRS Ofifrce Building, just one block from the U. S. Forest Products Laboratory. In remarks at the ceremony, R. g. Berry, fund drive chairman, told the assemblage that $61,000 in cash and materials had been received for the building, exceeding by $1,000 the original goal of $60,000.
