Carl Baugh, wholesale lumber dealer, Pasadena, and his family, are back from a combination business and pleasure trip to Northern California and Oregon.

Lumber Terminal Co., lumber sales division, San Francisco, has a new salesman, George Thornton, who was formerly with O'Neill Lumber Co., San Carlos. He served with the Navy in the South Pacific during the war.
Miss Margaret Tully, daughter of G. R. (Jeff) Tully, sales manager, fir department, Hallinan Mackin Lumber Co., San Francisco, left August 19 by steamer for Guam, where she will work as a civil service employee of the Navy for two years. She worked for the past three years in Alaska, and was formerly with Dant & Russell, Inc., in San Francisco.
A. E. Wol'ff, manager, Round Trading Company, San Francisco, returned August 16 from one of his periodical business trips to Portland, Tacoma, Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. He was gone a week, and as usual made the whole trip by air.
Fred Amburgey, of the sales department, Pope & Talbot, Inc.. Lumber Division, San Francisco, was back at his desk August23 f.rom a 10-day trip to the Northwest, where he called on the Pope & Talbot mills at St. Helens, Port Gamble, and Eugene.
