Joe Restine, Vicegerent Snark for the San Diego district, pulled off a notable Concat on June 25, at the old Indian Village on the Panama Pacific Fair grounds. It was an open air affair with a large and enthusiastic crowd in attendance. Together with Joe Restine, the following made up the degree team: Senior Hoo-Hoo, Herb Sullivan; Junior lloo-lfoo, C. C. West; Bojum, Clarence Jackson; the hardSupreme Cliff Estes was chairman of the program and also toastFlooring master on June 25, when the Los Angeles Hoo-Hoo Club of trade, held its annual wives' and children's day. Frank Curran welcomed the guests.

The San Joaquin Valley Lumbermen's Club held an Arcanoper, Chester Lane; Gurdon, Fred Hamilton; Jabberenjoyable t'lvo day convention June 19 and 20, when the wock, Frank Parks; Scrivenoter, G. F. Huff; Custocatian, members and guests motored to the Central Logging Camp G. E,. Mattison. in the High Sierra, where the two day program was held. President Jack Ferger was in charge.

The Central Valley Lumbermen's Club, of which W. H. Falconbury is president and Lester Elliott is secretary, has appointed a special committee consisting of Robert Inglis, ll. F. Wells, and George A. Good, to handle interclub relationships and activities.

Announcement is just made of great interest to wood flooring interests of California. The U. S. Court has held that the activities of the Maple Manufacturers Association are not in restraint as charged by the government.

Announcement has just been made of the total production of lumber in California in 1924. The Pine mills of the state produced a total of 1,325,165,000 feet, which included 331 million feet of the various Firs. The redwood mills produced 602,988,000 feet, giving the state a total of. I,928,153.000 for the vear.
