The National Lumber Manufacturers Association reported for the week ending June 11 that 417 mills shipped 1.5 per cent above production while orders were 7.4 per cent belorv production. For year to date these mills have shipped 2.5 per cent above production, and sold 1.4 above production.

The West Coast I-umbermen's Association, reporting for 164 sawmills, for the week ending June 11 produced 104,780,0m feet, shipped 116,046,000 feet, and sold 97,882,0n feet. For the week ending June 4 these same mills pro- duced 88,452,000 feet, shipped 98,986,000 feet, and sold 80,579,000 feet.

The Western Pine Association, reporting for 98 mills for the week ending June 11, showed production 66,&2,0W feet, shipments 58,768,000 feet, and sales 61,755,000'Teet, For the week ending June 4 these mills produced 56,622,00A feet, shipped 52,&\,OOO feet, and sold 47,467,000 feet. Fot the year to date these same mills have produced i,056,613,000 feet, shipped 1,159,044,0000 feet, and sold 1,228,' 380,000 feet.
