Laruc Woodron, San Francisco, representative Wheeler Osgood Company, Tacoma, recently made an trip to Tacoma to confer with that firm.

Gleeron A. Powerr, who has been with J. H. Baxter & Co. for several years in the San Francisco office, has been transferred to Los Angeles. He will work with J. C. (Mac) McCune, who has been made sales manager of the lumber department in the Southern California district. Mr. I'ower's principal work will be calling on lumber yards.

George Lounsberry, I.ounsberry & Flarris Lumber Co., Los Angetes, celelrrated his birthday April 13, and got a big hand when the orchestra played "Happy Birthday" at the annual banquet of the Southern California Retail I.umber Association, that evening.

Arney Jepson, of G. L. S1>eier Co., lumber manufacturers, Arcata, attended the annual conventicln of the Southern California Retail l-umber Association at the Ambassador I'lotcl. Los Angeles, April l3 to 15.

George E. Martin has joined the sales staff of the Diamond W. Supply Co., Los Angeles, wholesale distributors of ltuilding materials. George formerly represented the Colonial Cedar Co., of Seattle, in the Southern California territory, and prior to that was rvith the Wood Conversion Co.
