T'rvo units of mcibile yard ecluipment are in oper:rtion at lroth yards and the mill at the Hemet yard is on a lO-hour schedule to keep abreast of the demand. Seven delivery and trvo pick-up trucks are in use at the three locations. For spot delivery, one o{ the trucks is equipped u'ith "split" rollers so that partial loads can be "spot" droppecl for the builders, thus eliminating extra handling of material follo'iving deliverv to the various jobs. A lorv-bed order cart is in tuse in the Hemet yard, rvhere most of the ltig orders are prepared and ther-r transferred to the delivery truck by a lift ftrrk. This helps the persounel br,rild the ProPer lo:rtl ir.r a minimum of time.

"We also enjoy a real volume of business from the contractor and builder throughout this area, so lve oper:rte all of our stores as service institntions," he pointed out.

Jim Forgie, Snark of Los Angeles Hoo-Hoo Club 2, announced the next club activity will be held Friday, March 23, at the popular Fox Hills Country Club. A full day of sports and fun has been planned by the committee, and Larry Weiland and Rex Oxford have done a bang-up job of securing color rnotion pictures to be shown during the evening following dinner.

Golf tee-off time has been set from lO:29 a.m., cocktails at 5:09 p.m., and dinner promptly at 7:29. Members are requested to make reservations immediately for this event by calling Freeman Campbell at Western Mill and Lumber Co., ANgelus 2-4148.

"We anticipate a good turnout as it will be the next to the last golf tournament to be held during this fiscal Hoo-Hoo year," said Snark Jim. "I want to urge every member to attend as we will have some serious business to discuss at the time," he declared.

Woodson Moves Offices fo Ooklqnd

Larue J. Woodson, wholesale millwork, moved his offices to Oakland on February 21; phone: Hlgate 4-4848. Formerly located in San Francisco, he handled such items as sash, doors and plywood; specialities include a soundproof door and a fire door. He also represents Chapman Hardboard. Prior to starting his own business three years ago, Woodson was manager of the Nicolai door firm in San Francisco for 20 yearc. Before that time, he was the California sales manager of the WheelerOsgood Company of Tacoma, Wash.
