Bob Heckel, Snark of San Diego Hoo-Hoo Club 3, and the committee-including John Collins ar-rd Al Frost, Jr., \,vere responsible for one of the finest dinner-dance events ever held by the San Diego group. One-hundred and thirty Black Cats, their r'vives, sweethearts and friends, danced until the wee small hours of Sunday morning, Jantary 28, at Caspers Rar-rch, El Cajon, California. Sn.eet music rvas furnished by the Melody Aces dance orchestra.

In spite of the inclement r,veather, this annnal affair attracted a record attendance. Cocktail parties l,ere held by various members, and Mr. and Xfrs. Carl Gavotto entertained a group of visitors from Los Angeles, including NIr. and l\{rs. Don Bufkin and Ole May ancl u'ife Millie. Dick and Eddie Gavotto and Ed X{ansfield attended the partv with Betty, Bunny and Mary-Lou.

'fhe San Diego Hoo-Hoo Club Quartet entertained during the dinner hour u'ith the Melody Aces. John Nikkel, Perry Smith, Bill Seeley and Warren Peterson are really the "Cats" when it comes to furnishing srveet music. \\re understand they will sing at the San Francisco Hoo-Hoo International convention come September.

Beautiful door prizes were presented to the "lucky" ladies and the committee did a "bang-up" job of arrangement for this party, which was enjoyed by all who were lucky enough to attend.
