Look Out, Moisture!

A new product that attacks moisture problems is White Plastic by Specification Chemical Co.

It is a liquid, vinyl-based moisture barrier which may be tinted with a universal colorant and easily applied by spray, paint roller or paint brush.

The product has been marketed in the Southwest for several years. Originally designed to be sprayed over urethane foam to insulate against intense heat and to prevent leakage, White Plastic soon developed into a multi-use, interior-exterior coating that adheres to wood, stone, concrete, aluminum, galvanized steel, weathered asphalt roofing products, and mqre.

The manufacturer states that some typical uses are: coating weathered asphalt roofs, sealing exterior foundations (both above and below grade), interior basement walls, mobile home tops, and other applications where asphalt products are traditionally used. It is also used as an adhesive for carpeting and to adhere fiberglass to walls and ceilings for wall repair of cracks an d other deteriorations.

The new dealer aid is a fold-up cardboard display unit for their prefinished basement/utility window unit which will permit customers to closely inspect and operate the window.
