Earth Color Mosaics

American Olean has introduced three new "earth colors" in their ceramic mosaic line. available in l" x 1", 2" x l" , 2" x 2", a 2" hexagon and all trim shapes.

With this small module. an infinite variety of abstract, graphic or pictorial designs can be created. Body of tile is 1/4" thick, frostproof and impervious. A rugged, unglazed tile, it is suitable for walls and floors in homes, schools, institutions, hotels, motels and swimming pools.

Real Oak Look & Feel

Valley Oak II and Saddle Oak II, the latest in prefinished flush doors from Simpson Timber's Columbia Door Div.. add a new dimension to the original oak doors. They not only look like broadgrained oak, but they have the feel of oak as well. The doors feature rich colors and a wood appearance, emphasized by a deeply embossed grain and a tough finish.

The flush doors are built with oldfashioned craftsmanship that assures built-in quality and workability. The doors are further distinguished by the low maintenance required. Under tough testing, the prefinished veneer surfaces resisted scratching, marring and abrasion. They are recommended for interior use in both commercial and residential buildings, responding well to high traffic areas since they are easily cleaned.

Poly Leach Field Pipe

National Drain Supplies has introduced a new 4" perforated high-density polyethylene pipe designed specifically for septic tank leach fields. Cost is approximately 25% lower than conventional fibre pipe.

In addition to lower cost, the new pipe is stronger, lighter, less expensive to ship and easier to install with simple solvent joints. The new pipe is IAMPOapproved and meets ASTM D-3350 Type 3 specifications.

The new pipe is available in 10" lengths with belled ends.

New Sales Aid For Stain

A new, oversize, 3" x 6",21 chip stain color deck is being offered by the C. H. Tripp Finishing Co.

The new color deck provides the consumer with a sample surface that is large enough to eliminate color matching problems.

According to the manufacturer, the new color deck has been extremely effective in increasing sales of Carver Tripp stains and has been greeted by dealers' customers as a great aid in making stain color selections.

New Masonry Brushes

When it comes to applying Kalsomine, masonry paint, waterbase paint or whitewash, the new Flo-Pac no. 17 Cement Koter Brush is not only acid resistant, but it also does an excellent job of holding and spreading solutions. Its durable hardwood block is filled with four rows of white tampico fiber trimmed to 4" length. The block measures l-314" x 6-112" wide.

Another brush, the Flo-Pac no. 18 Cement Koter, is designed for those who prefer synthetic bristles. It's very similar to the no. 17, but is filled with white tamplene bristles, a synthetic that gives the appearance and feel of tampico.

Georgia-Pacific's new idea echoes the spirit of the Old West in its latest prefinished paneling ideas: Round-Up.

It is hand branded with famous ranch brands that served to identify cattle and horse ownership in the open range country.

In addition to the branded version. Round-Up is available in an unbranded panel that emphasizes the rough-sawn embossed woodgrain patterns on a brushed textured surface of 1/4" thick fir veneered plywood.

It comes in two colors.

Surprisingly modest in cost, it adds a solid planked dimension with channel grooves wider and deeper than usual on 12" centers.
