James R. Walker of the Burlington Northern said that present rate setting methods were unfair and that the roads needed to be relieved of the utility funtion that government had forced upon them. He felt that the final form of deregulation would not be as far reaching as some expect.

PlenWood is the system that promotes the use of wood joists in residential foundations, utilizing the crawlspace as the conditioned-air distribution chamber, instead of metal ductwork.
Dr. C. Jackson Grayson, of the American Productivity Center, and the former chairman of the U.S. Price Commission, noted the decline of productivity in America, contrasted it with certain foreign economies and noted that this country must strive to regain its productivity so that it can be more competitive.
