PArCO-LOC REDWOOD

Long in Length-f inger .iointed in specified lengths up to 20 feetwhere it counts the most: for fascia, soffits, rake, frieze boards, corner boards, trim, and sidings. Short on Costs-the long lengths reduce application costs and trim waste.

It stays flat and straight, holds finishes longer. Can be ordered in vertical grain to eliminate grain raise.

Fascia patterns are single or double-plowed to receive either 1/4" or 3lB" soffits. Palco-Loc is also made in S4S finish. Available paint primed. Other patterns are available on special order.

With its exterior waterproof adhesives, Palco-Loc complies with FHA requirements for non-structural exterior and interior uses.

Thicknesses: 1" nominal, 314" net. 1-114" nominal, 1-111 6" net. widths: 2" lo12" in'1 " thickness,2" to 10" in 1-'l/4".

Grades: Clear All Heart VC, Clear VC and Clear Mixed Grain.

PALCO-rOC REDWOOD BEVET SIDINC

The long finger-jointed lengths reduce application costs by minimizing trimming, sealing and caulking of buttloints. The fewer number of buttjoints also i mprove appearance.

lmportant in this siding are the inherent advantages of redwood: superior finishability, superior dimensional stability, high insulation value, decay and insect resistance, fire resistance, etc. Vertical grain provides the utmost in siding performance due to its superiority of holding finishes and minimizing grain raising. The 3/4" thickness patterns provide attractive heavy shadow lines.

Sizes: 314" x 10" pattern #331, reversible; standard in inventory.3l4" x 6", 8" and 10" are available in any bevel siding patterns on special order.

Grade: Clear Vertical Crain.

Lengths: Specified lengths, most frequently 16'/2O'.

318" PALCO PANELINC

3lB" Panelingwith 4" width sawtextured face exposed.

Designed for new construction or remodeling by contractors or D-l-l the 3/8" thickness provides the beauty and prestige of genuine solid redwood at lower costs. Pattern is T&G with eased edges, one face smooth, the other saw-textured. Light, easy to handle, it goes up fast with application by nailing, stapling, or gluing.

Thickness: 3/8" nominal, 11132" net.

Widths: 4",6", and 8".

Lengths: 7', 8',9' or 10'.

Grades: Clear Mixed Crain in 4" and 6", Clear and Better VC in 8".

Packaging: Packaged in protective cartons. 4" widths contain 32 courses; 28 full length pieces and eight shorter pieces. Cartons of 6" (shown in photo) and 8" contain 14 full length pieces and four shorter pieces.

112" (net) PANETING

Made in 6" width, Clear Mixed Grain grade (VG on special order), random 3'l20' length. Available paper wrapped. As shown in the photo, the smooth surfaced side has a vee edge, saw-textured side is square edge. The 112" net thickness can also be used as T&G sid ing.

Palco Redwood Commons

Redwood lumber is a traditional natural choice for landscape structures. Redwood commons with their rich rustic appearances are particularly popular for landscape structuring, garden structures, decks and fences.

Redwood commons orovide dimensional stability with minimum warping, checking, or cupping in exterior structures at low cost and with minimum maintenance.

Redwood commons are promoted industry-wide as "Garden Redwoodj' consisting of these grades: Construction Heart, Construction Common, and Merchantable.

Redwood Nova Scotia

Palco's economy special upper grade of kilndried redwood consists of pieces containing defects not allowed in Clear grade and is similar to D grade Douglas fir. Available in 54S, 51 52E with saw-textured face, pattern and fascia.

Sizes: .l " (314' net) x 2" to 12".

Lengths: Random 6' /2O'.

Redwood Moutdings

Architectural quality kiln-dried redwood. Clear grade mixed grain made in Brick Mould, Lattice, Baluster, and Batten patterns. Palco-Loc finger-jointed mouldings are available in Bed, OC Batts, and Ohio Band patterns.

Redwood Steppinc

Specially selected vertical grain in Clear All Heart and Clear grades, kiln-dried S3SN1E.

Sizes:

1-114" x10" (1-1116" x9-112" net),

1-114" x12" (1-1116" x11-114" net).

Lengths: Random 3' l2O'.

Palco selects special items from its Carden Redwood production to be air-seasoned. The air-seasoned products are in Select and Better and Construction Common grades. The available sizes ate 2" x 4" to 12" and 4" x 4".

Also available air-seasoned are 1" nominal saw-textured patterns and sidings on special order.

Palco Fortuna mill applies an anti-stain treatment to all its green redwood commons.

Fortuna's green and air-seasoned units are available with a good quality protective wrapping.
