Niesen-Ward Forest Products, Inc. is the new name of Niesen Forest Products, according to F. W. "Bill" Niesen, president. Paul W. Ward recently became a partner and has been elected v.p.

Prior to the formation of the parent company in 1972, Niesen had been with Union Lumber Co. in a variety of sales and production capacities since 1949. Ward had 17 years sales experience with Arcata Redwood Co. and was their sales manager before joining Niesen Forest Products in 1973.

Sales emphasis will continue to be on the strong nation-wide distribution of redwood lumber with full back up of a wide range of West Coast forest products including plywood, particleboard and fir.

DG Service Centers

Headquartered in Fullerton, Ca., DG Service Centers operates a network of 16 distribution centers located throughout the U.S. Each center supplies a full line of building products to the mobile home manufacturing, industrial and retail dealer markets and provides overnight delivery service to its customers.

Railroaders and Lumbermen

Bill continues to headquarter in Fort Bragg, Ca., while Paul remains in the Bay Area branch in Morgan Hill.

William J. Holtztrager, 36, has been appointed president of DG Service Centers, a division of DG Shelter Products, Ca., according to Robert C. McCracken, president, Di Giorgio Corp., San Francisco.

Railroad Nite, Black Bart HooHoo Club's annual meeting with railroaders from a wide section of the Pacific Northwest and California, was held recently in Ukiah, Ca.

Lumberman Cliff Smoot, a longtime club member, handled the m.c. duties for program chairman Merl Tanner.

More than 60 were present.
