Last month, Paul Bunyan took time out to witness the Billionth Board Foot of lumber produced by Paul Bunyan Lumber Co. The company was founded in Susanville. Calif. in 1945 and has been in operation in Anderson since 1955. This is about 32,000 cars and trur:k and trailer loads, It is also enough lumber to build 83,000 averagc homes-a city of 330,000 population.
Vith this type of plant and equipment and good supervision, there is no difficulty whatever to live up to the meaning of the company trade mark: "The registered trade mark stJnds for the quality and service that a customer has the right to expect from Paul Bunyan."
