NewTreated Millwork Standard

The industry standard for non-pressure treating of wood millwork (including mouldings, doors, windows and frames) has been revised by the Wood Moulding & Millwork Producers Association.

The new standard, WM 6-87, applies to non-pressure water-repellant preservative treating systems for wood millwork products used in exterior applications.

Introduced in response to the constant development of new, alternate treating systems, the standard provides base performance levels to which all systems must comply. A copy of WM 6-87 is available for $20.
