Interlock The Door

A new door-sealing assembly which reportedly could result in as much as l0o/o monthly savings in heating and cooling costs has been introduced by H.l.C., Ltd.

Designed primarily for exterior doors. Draft Miser is an interlocking sealing system (not a sweeping device) which seals the bottom of the door against weather. When the door is closed, an insulating air space is formed between the door plate and door sill. The recessed grooves, for caulking purposes, further seal the device to the door.

The product accommodates wood, fiberglass and steel entry doors up to l-3/4" thick and 36" wide and can be trimmed to fit the door.

Bel-Air VP In Co. 23 Years

Marty Rubino, vice President of Bel-Air Door Co., Alhambra, Ca., recently celebrated his 23rd anniversary with the 70 Year-old company, according to Samuel Fineman, president.

Rubino has returned to work on a part-time basis after a slight stroke.

Fineman also announced that Ross Fineman, a 13 Year veteran of the company, has been Promoted to executive vice president of Bel-Air Door Co., Tyre Mfg. Co., Inc., and Alhambra Metal Products, lnc. Bert Olague has been appointed corporate controller.
