L. A. club honors elders
T[/HILE THE lrorld was busy fussing l/v Y v about the younger generation, Los Angclcs Hoo-Hoo club turned their attention in the other direction and honored the elders of the order with their annual Old Timers meeting in May.
Some of the old timers were Leroy Stanton, Sr.. Merle "Spud" Jordan, Harvey Koll. John Lipani. Alan Shively, Roscoc Blanchard" Gcorge Clough, Harl Crockett and D. C. Esslev.
They were each presented with a walnutbase paper wcight inscribed with club name and the date.
In addition to past Snarks of the Universe Stanton and Koll. the club also had fir'e past-presidents present: Don Gow, Ben Cardiner, Frank Quattrocchi, John Osgood and Ceorge Clough. Larry Owen, Supreme Nine memlit'r for the jurisdiction, flew in lor the t-vent.
