Redwood Empire Expanding

As part of their establishment of a distribution center network, Redwood Empire, Inc, has purchased half of the property in Elk Grove, Ca., formerly occupied by Evans Products' Capp Homes subsidiary. The 15.79 acres contain a 9,300 sq. ft. office building, a 24,000 sq. ft. office building plus two warehouses, according to Roger Burch, president.

It opened last month as a distribution center, joining Redwood Empire's other locations in Ctoverdale, Ca., where they have opened a new 2,700 sq. ft. sales office on the site of the G&R Lumber Co. (a sister company); Morgan Hill, Ca., where a new 6,300 sq. ft. sales office has recently been completed; and Sacramento, where the firm operates a sales office.

Increased staffings include Linda French at the Morgan Hill office, under sales mgr. Claudia Cowan; Bob Simpson at Cloverdale under sales manager Marty Olhiser; and at Sacramento, under Jeff Loftus, sales manager: Alan Handelin, Susan Harrington, and Ray Trujillo in sales and Steve Hockman.

Northern Nevada, as does the Sacramento office, which also handles national sales, according to general manager John Wilton.
