W. W. "Tfilkie" Tfilkenson, longtime Los Angeles-area representative for several western forest products firms and a veteran of more than a half century in the lumber industry, died in November. He was 83'

A native of Manitoba, Canada, Wilkenson immigrated to the Pacific Northwest as a young: men and spent several years with lumber firms in Seattle and Portland.

In 1904, he moved to Los Angeles where he worked at Consolidated Lumber, later moving back to the Portland area. In 1923, he returned to sout}rerrr California as a mill representative for a number of fims, including Dant & Russell, Inc., Oregon-Washington Plywood Co. and Nicolai Door Co.

Mr. Wilkenson is suryived by his widow, Lillian, of the family home in Redondo Beach.

He is also survived by his son David, who was associated vrith him in business until 1953 when he opened a retail yard, Lomita Lumber Co., Lomita, Calif., which he operates today.
