1l1g coming 64th Annual Western Exposition is eiceptionally high. Another record-breaking registered attendance is expected to surpass the 2,209 persons who participated in the 1966 Exposition.

The 1967 Exposition will be in Seattle, Washington, February 3-4, with a special 'oMexican Fiesta" evening preview on Thursday, February 2. Exhibits, business programs and the oobull ring" will take place in beautiful facilities at the Seattle Center, and the social events in The OIympic, the Exposition hotel.

Programming of all events will be on a non-conflicting schedule so everyone can participate and enjoy everything offered throughout the two full days and "preview" evening. The Exposition theme will emphasize opportunities in our industry for firms and individuals.

The special preview Thursday evening, February 2 at 6:30 P.M. will open the

Exposition with the gay atmosphere of a Mexican Fiesta. The large array of product exhibits will officially be open for a preview showing from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m.

The kick-off breakfast at 8 a.m. Friday, in the grand ballroom will start the bu iness programs. Featured speaker will be Lowry Vyatt, vice president and manager, wood products group, Weyerhaeuser Co. An exceptional speaker with wide experience, he will set an interesting tempo for other sessions which will be held in the Seattle Center Playhouse. Additional speakers include Carl Muehlenbruch, president, Tec-Search, Inc., Wilmette, Illinois; John M. Dickerman, NL&BMDA legislative counsel, formerly executive vice president. National Association of Home Builders; Heartsill Wilson, nationallyknown marketing consultant to industry.

New products and services will be spotlighted Friday and Saturday in the "bull ring." All exhibitors are invited to demonstrate their new developments and ideas to a grandstand audience in colorful surrounding. All exhibits will be open during

The traditionally enjoyable social events will add fun and entertainment to the exposition. Everyone will enjoy the Western Roundup Mixer Friday evening and the dinner - entertainment - dance Saturday evening. All the women are invited to a tea and style show at Frederick & Nelson on Friday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Vern E. Greer, Greer & Thomas Lumber Company, Seattle, cochairmen, anticipate an exciting 1967 Western Exposition. Most importantly, Vern said it is an event where evervone in the building material industry in the West will learn, see, hear and feel the excitement of opportunities in our industry. On February ll a post-exposition tour will take many dealers and others to Mexico City, Acapulco, and Taxco for nine days including interesting meetings with Mexican building material industry people. The tour cost is $440.50 from Seattle or Portland. San Francisco or Los Angeles departures also are available.
