A redesigned 3/8" insulating sheathing product is available from Amoco Foam Products Co.

Designed with a protective plastic coating over an extruded polystyrene composition, Amocor Plygood is resistant to moisture and can handle rough on-the-jobsite handling.

Enhanced Siding Colors

Three colors-shale gray, adobe clay and parchment-have been added to Nailite International's Perfection-Plus Cedar sidine line.

Reportedly three times the thickness of conventional siding, Perfection-Plus Cedar can be applied over most construction surfaces. It comes with matching panels, starter strips, corner pieces, corner posts and J-channels.

A Diamond In The Rough

A diamond segment grinding system has been introduced by General Equipment Co.

Designed to clean concrete, remove dirt or rubber tire build-up, and remove a wide range of thin film coatings, Diam-A-Tach's circular shape enables segments to better ricochet off surface obstructions to minimize damage.

For use with popular models of multi-head surface grinders, the offset mounting configuration promotes uniform wear. The individual segments can be easily replaced with hand tools.

Powerful Coil Nailers

Two pneumatic coil nailers with 2OVo more power than previous models are available from Senco Products, Inc.

The SCN60 and SCN65 have a convenient, adjustable depth-of-drive to drive nails to a consistent and controllable depth from flush to a l/4" countersink.

Weighing 7.5 lbs. and 8 respectively, both tools are lightweight for one-hand operation and have a special-angled handle for a secure grasp and to reduce operator fatigue.

Each nailer holds up to 275 nails and can be loaded with fasteners without laying the tools down.

The SCN65 is designed for use as a framing nailer.

24 Hour Vent

The panels, which are installed with a urethane-based adhesive and noncorrosive fasteners, interlock and overlap from end-to-end and top-tobottom, providing no visible seams.

Panels may be custom sawn and mitered to match gable angles. Standard thickness allows for the use of J-channels.

The panels' woodgrain surface is protected with a smooth, low-gloss exterior finish that can be painted or stained.
