The Bacolod Tay Tung High School Student Council Organization relaunched Tay Tung’s very own beauty pageantry, the Taytungian Icons, and with this year’s theme: Resurgence This activity aims to unleash the beauty, wits, confidence, talents, and camaraderie of being a Taytungian role model. Here, the 12 representatives from different batches in high school convene on the big stage to promote and embody the qualities of an ideal Taytungian model student They represent the best Taytungians of the present day who never gave up and remained

The different icons who represented their grade levels were; Rhianna Tan and Matthew Ong for Grade 7, Yesamin Kalalang-

-and Juntin Lomotan for Grade 8, Brianna Ang and Winefred Sipat for Grade 9, Adrienne Jessica Tan and Mike Eric Balontong for Grade 10, Kimberly Payumo and Giorgio Ananoria for Grade 11, and Fiona Castillon and Chriz Santiago for Grade 12 They were tasked to have a photo shoot which was later posted on the official page of the BTTHS SCO

Each contestant wittily answered the challenging question; “If you were to tell the Taytungians something that could inspire them to become morally upright students of Bacolod Tay Tung High School, what would it be?” Every icon answered from their heart with honesty and confidence The icons motivated their fellow Taytungians to live by the school’s core values and the Confucian teachings of the Great Harmony. They served as the voice and the inspiration of each and every Taytungian.
