The Elementary Pupils and The Fantastical English Week!

On November 11, 2022, the elementary students of Bacolod Tay Tung High School celebrated English Week, sponsored and hosted by the English Department, with the theme: Reimagine the Dreamland Through Language and Literature. The young students were given the opportunity to bring fictional characters to life with the Literary Cosplay Parade, where the students cosplayed their favorite fictional characters

Not only did they portray their favorite characters, but also some students showcased their talents by impersonating them during the event Level 1 presented their contenders for each section through Poem Recitation and Song Interpretation They recited familiar poems, tales, and interpreted famous Disney films As for Level 2, they showcased their abilities in performing the art of literature through Character Impersonation, English Declamation, and Oration Each talented student represented their respective sections

To wrap up, the event ended with a fabuous intermission number from the Grade 6 Students It was composed of musicals and plays from varied multiple Disney songs and the well-loved musician film, “The Sound of Music”. Indeed, fairytales and fantasies are not just fictional entertainment, but something that people can enjoy and create memorable moments and experiences by believing and imagining that people can make it happen
