New Chamber Program 3D Mobile Notary The Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new program that will provide convenient services to members and the community – a mobile notary service. The program is called 3D Mobile Notary. Before the launch of the Chamber’s program, 3D Mobile Notary was owned and operated by Dena and DeWayne Duhon. “As we began to explore our options to retire, one of our main goals was to transition 3D in a manner that would guarantee the same level of service that our customers have grown to expect.”, explained DeWayne. The Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce purchased the business assets of 3D Mobile Notary and is bringing them into the Chamber as a program with the same name, 3D Mobile Notary. The Duhon’s will work side-by-side with the Chamber to train their staff in operations of 3D Mobile Notary, and they will oversee the training of additional notaries. They will continue to conduct closings through the end of 2021, and anticipate continuing to do closings for the Chamber as one of their notaries when they are not traveling. If you are interested in the services of a mobile notary, call or text the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce at 816.814.5384. You can also e-mail scheduling@3dmobilenotary.com.

MEET A BOARD MEMBER Carman Booker, Bank 21 BANK 21 is a 5th generation family-owned community bank. Customer service and relationships with our customers and community is very important to us. We are successful when our customers are successful. I am responsible for all Deposit Operations for the bank as well as Bank Security, BSA, and Deposit Compliance. Tellers, New Accounts, Business Development, Cash Management, Customer Experience, you name it. Coaching and developing our incredible team, community involvement, and building relationships with our amazing customers is definitely my favorite part. BANK 21 has supported the Blue Springs Chamber since opening our Branch Carman Booker in Blue Springs more than 14 years ago. Our officers and team members are cbooker@bank21.com encouraged to be engaged in the community. I was first introduced to the Blue Springs Chamber when I joined the LEADership Blue Springs Class in 2016. I found the heart and mission of the Chamber and the team members of the Chamber so enlightening, passionate, and I can see the great things they are doing to make this community so wonderful and successful. Living and working here I love this community and want to do my part to help continue the Chamber’s mission. What I like most about the Chamber is the Staff - they are brilliant at what they do. The compassion and dedication, the advocacy for businesses in Blue Springs is admirable. They are the heroes behind the scenes that do the hard work with little recognition. The Chamber has contributed to Bank 21 by giving us a platform, creating a network of other businesses in our community and giving us the opportunity to work together and support each other to make our community stronger. In my free time I enjoy gardening. I am not that good, but I love it! I also love dinner and movies with friends, and volunteering and service are my passions. My awesome husband and I have been married since 2014, we have made our home in Blue Springs with our two rescue fur babies Jack and Griffey. #adoptdontshop
