Campaign raises $111 million, funds dramatic transformation with unprecedented impact decade ago, when President Ronald K. Machtley had already served nearly double the tenure of the David C. Wegrzyn average college ’86, P’23 president, Ron Vice President for and the Board of University Advancement Trustees conceived a bold vision to transform Bryant from a regional institution to a national university. In the wake of the 2008 recession, their strategic plan was ambitious, and achieving its goals would require unprecedented levels of philanthropy from the Bryant community. The plan evolved into

ended December 31, 2019 and raised $111 million — more than triple the goal of the previous campaign and surpassing both its initial goal of $75 million and the stretch goal of $100 million. More than 24,000 alumni, students, the World of Opportunity: The parents, faculty, staff, and friends Campaign for Bryant’s Bold Future, responded with gifts of all sizes, as well as with extraordinary spirit, pride, and generosity. Along with a record-breaking number of donors and several of BRYANT’S CAPITAL the largest gifts received in Bryant’s history, CAMPAIGN INSPIRED the campaign welcomed $18 million 14,816 new donors who Academic Programs had never before given to and Initiatives Bryant, inspired by the leadership philanthropy $25 million $14 million of so many others. $2 million University Priorities and Strategic Initiatives

ryant’s strong alumni network in finance and financial services will convene on campus April 17 for the 15th annual Financial Services Forum, which kicks off Alumni Engagement Day. The Forum’s keynote speaker will be Nicholas Bohnsack ’00, Co-Founder and President of Strategas Securities. Bohnsack is a founding member of Bryant’s Wall Street Council, and has been a mentor and advisor to Bryant’s finance students over the past two decades since his graduation. In 2010, Bohnsack received Bryant’s Young Alumnus Leadership Award. His keynote address will focus on the macro economy and his recommendations on global asset allocation based on up-to-the-day information about today’s volatile world markets. In the morning, an Industry Pathways Panel will bring recent graduates back to share career tips and successes. Ryan Callahan ’09, CIMA, Wealth Planner at Northeast Planning Associates, will moderate, joined by Austin Baker ’16, Consultant at McKinsey & Company; Regina Castro ’14, Research Associate at MFS Investment
