Working with patients alongside our caring, experienced faculty will prepare you to be the best qualified nurse in the region.

Our high student success rates prove that the time put into our program will not only earn you your bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) degree, but also ensure you are ready for the registered nurse (RN) licensure exam.

Program Highlights

• Complete 1,215 clinical hours with more supervised patient contact time than any other program in the state

• 1:7 faculty-to-student ratio

• More specialization = higher earning potential

• Bryan BSN graduates have a higher pass rate on the national licensure exam (NCLEX)

• Hastings location students have the opportunity to live on campus and take general education classes at Hastings College

Our programs will prepare you to develop the skills and confidence to produce high-quality images needed by health care providers to properly diagnose and treat patients.

We offer two sonography degrees that can be tailored to your interests.

Cardiovascular Major

• 1,549 clinical hours

• Graduates eligible for the adult echo and vascular registry exams

• 12 students accepted each year

• Diverse clinical site options

Diagnostic Medical Sonography Major

• 1,111 clinical hours

• 10 students accepted each year

• Graduates eligible for abdomen and OB/GYN registry exams

Applications demonstrating a high level of academic performance may be offered priority admission into the program. Spots for each program are very limited, and most spots are filled by February 1. Students are encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible.

ou are able to learn by doing at Bryan College of Health Sciences. Our state-of-the-art simulation centers provide the most realistic hands-on learning experience possible. You will role play working with physicians, pharmacists and other members of the medical team, as well as patient family members. The simulators have the ability to talk, express pain and ask questions as part of the learning experience. In fact, the scenarios are often so realistic, you may forget your patient is a simulator.

Our clinical rotations include rural and specialized hospitals, as well as diverse and engaging clinical rotations with respected health professionals.

The faculty and staff at Bryan are devoted to helping all of us succeed in our journey as a future health care provider. The amount of clinical hours and hands-on experiences are unmatched. It provides me with the tools to be confident in providing safe and quality care to patients.

Scholarships

All students admitted to Bryan are invited to fill out the Bryan Foundation scholarship application.

• 80% of applicants received a scholarship of at least $1,000

• In 2022-2023 the average scholarship amount awarded was over $4,000

We also encourage you to apply for outside scholarships to increase your aid.

Grants & Loans

All federal and state grants such as the Pell Grant, Direct loans and PLUS loans, are also available for Bryan students.

If you are a high school junior or senior, you can start taking classes with us online or on-campus for only $200 per credit hour. Our courses are ACE scholarship eligible.

Medical Science Focus Program at Lincoln Northwest High School

This program consists of a Pre-Pathway for all 9th and 10th graders and the Pathway for 11th and 12th grades.

Pre-Pathway

9th and 10th graders who attend Lincoln Northwest experience medical science concepts in existing LPS courses (e.g. math, science and health courses)

• Field trips

Pathway

11th and 12th graders who attend Northwest are encouraged to apply for the program.

• Hands-on immersive opportunities in medical fields, including mentoring from a current BCHS student who is training to enter the field
