Education
Preparing current and future healthcare professionals Your contribution to Bryan College of Health Sciences goes beyond supporting the present – it shapes the future of health care. By investing in education for current and future healthcare professionals, you are enhancing the quality of care today and building a legacy that will impact generations to come. Your generosity fuels continuing education for our employees, keeping them at the leading edge of medical advancements. You also are equipping high school students in our Medical Sciences Focus Program with the skills to pursue meaningful careers in health care.
PAST Since 1926, Bryan College has equipped nurses with educational knowledge to benefit our patients and community.
4
PRESENT Bryan’s Nurse Residency program inspires nurses to analyze processes and seek new approaches.
FUTURE Medical Sciences Focus Program students get a jump start into health care.
Vulnerable Populations Removing obstacles to care for those in need
Your generosity helps Bryan Health remove critical barriers to care for our most vulnerable populations, including those who are food insecure, homeless or battling cancer. We know that healing goes beyond medical treatments – patients can’t focus on recovery if they are hungry, lack adequate clothing or have no way to get to their appointments. Thanks to donors like you, we can provide essential support to patients as they transition home. And ensure they have the resources they need to attend treatments and be as well as possible. Your support truly makes a life-changing difference in their journey.

Women’s & Children’s Health The Women’s & Children’s Services team at Bryan Medical Center supports families across Nebraska and nearby states, helping moms and babies get the best start. More than half of Nebraska’s counties are “maternity deserts,” where women travel over 30 miles for pregnancy care. Preterm births are rising, and some rural hospitals are at risk of closing. Bryan is expanding its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to meet these growing needs. NICU demand often exceeds capacity. Expanding our Women’s & Children’s footprint means more families can access care. Some infants stay in the NICU for hours, others for months. Your support helps address challenges in communities without this level of care and provides the advanced care our tiniest patients need.

FUTURE
From the first baby born at Bryan in 1926 to today, our commitment to caring for the youngest has never wavered.
Through simulation training, providers gain hands-on experience managing complex deliveries and maternal emergencies.
An expanded NICU allows Bryan to meet critical needs by serving more families in our community and across the state.
