Children and ’Tweens: Early readers (ages 0-5), children (ages 5-9), and ’tweens (ages 10-12) who sign up will receive a bag (sports bag for ’tweens), a bookmark or newsletter, and a reading log with stickers. Those who complete summer reading (25 books for early readers, 25 books or 12.5 hours for children and ’tweens) will receive a voucher for a Greenville Drive ticket, a paper music note to write their name on and add to our wall, a medal, and an entry into the Grand Prize Drawing. Early Readers will also receive a music-themed rubber duck. Complete an additional reading log for an extra entry into the Grand Prize Drawings-- Early Readers: keyboard playmat, Children: Ukulele Starter Kit, ’Tweens: BeatsX Wireless In-Ear Headphones Also, join us for special performances throughout June and July. Find a performance schedule in the Children’s section of this newsletter.

Teens: Sign up for Summer Reading and receive a sports bag, a bookmark, a reading log, and an entry into the teen weekly prize drawing (weekly prizes are $25 gift cards to local establishments). Complete the program (12 hours) to receive a voucher for a Greenville Drive ticket, a weekly prize drawing entry, and an entry into the Grand Prize drawing for Beats Wireless Over-Ear Headphones. Complete an additional reading log for an extra entry into the Grand Prize drawing.

Adults: Beginning June 1, adults can enter weekly prize drawings during checkout (one entry per day, at one branch only please). Earn extra entries by attending adult library programs during June and July. Complete a “Libraries Rock” Bingo Card by July 31 to be entered in our Grand Prize drawing. Bingo cards will be available at all branches. The adult Grand Prize, sponsored by Greenville Drive, is a package which includes: a behind-the-scenes tour of Fluor Field, 4 Green Monster seat tickets to the Reading All-Stars game on Aug. 19 at 4pm, 2 hats, 2 t-shirts, 1 mini-bat, 1 baseball, and a $100 Visa gift card to use at a restaurant before the game and/or refreshments at the field. The Runner-Up Prize is a Kindle Fire 8.

All Ages Prize: Thanks to a generous donation by former NFL star and Clemson graduate, Donnell Woolford, we have an extra prize category this year! Everyone who completes Summer Reading (kids and teens by reading the required amount, adults by completing a Bingo card) will be entered into a drawing for 1 pair of Clemson football tickets (game TBD). We’ll draw one winner from each branch!
