A Year in Review: 2022

After two years of little to no events, Bossier City’s Brookshire Grocery Arena brought entertainment back full swing in 2022 with over 20 events throughout the year! From family and sports events to comedy shows and concerts, Brookshire Grocery Arena has had it all.

Brookshire Grocery Arena started 2022 off full of laughter, imagination and non-stop adrenaline filled fun for all! Katt Williams with his World War Tour and the hilariously talented Harlem Globetrotters had guests rolling over in their seats; Memories full of wonder and delight for all ages were made from events like Cirque du Soleil, JoJo Siwa and the Monster Truck Nitro Tour; and the MercyMe concert and Winter Jam 2022tourcreatednightsofworshipenjoyedbythousands!

The end of spring and beginning of summer served Bossier City with more excitement with Master P's No Limit Tour, the return of WWE, and having the Sons of the Dirty South, Brantley Gilbert and Jelly Roll, come out for a night of loud and rowdy fun. Brookshire Grocery Arena also had the honor once again to host persons from all over the globe alongside the Shreveport Sports Commission. Eight teams from the Volleyball Nations League arrived for six days of non-stop competition including the highly anticipated rematch between USA and Brazil with the USA coming out victorious

Contrary to his hit song, country artist Lee Brice proved he was not at all 'Hard to Love' and fellow singer Luke Bryan showed up and out weeks later giving Bossier City another unforgettable night! brought many nights of entertainment to Bossier City, including multiple sold out events from Reba McEntire, Morgan Wallen, New Edition, Koe Wetzel and Chris Stapleton.

OnSeptember30th,2022ourbuildingannounceditsnewpaid parkinginstallation.

“Our goal is to keep Brookshire Grocery Arena the crown jewel of NWLA, which requires an investment in physical upgrades as well as technology,” says Rebecca Bonnevier, ASM Global GeneralManager “Revenuescollectedforparkingwillbeused to fund arena operations, as well as future capital improvements.”

As part of a continued effort to improve the guest experience, reduce lines, and increase safety by limiting the exchange of money, the Brookshire Grocery Arena became a cashless venuein2022

The cash-free model allows the arena to operate more efficientlybyremovingcashhandlingdutiesandspeedingup transaction times. This reduces long lines and gets arena guests back to the action faster while providing our service teamstheopportunitytofocusmoreontheguestexperience.
