CELEBRATING SUCCESS

BROOKSHIRE GROCERY ARENA’S EMPLOYEE FUN DAY

Without the hard work and dedication of the staff at the BGA, events would not be possible. That’s why on Aug. 1, the staff took to Surge Entertainment for a day of laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories!

The staff got the ball rolling, quite literally, with some friendly competition on the bowling lanes. Strikes, spares, and the more than occasional gutter ball brought out the cheers and the good-natured ribbing.

Adrenaline soared as team members donned their vests and embarked on a high-energy game of laser tag. Stealthy maneuvers and rapid-fire laser lit up the room, showcasing the true spirit of teamwork.

From virtual golf swings to zombie dodgeball, Surge Entertainment offered an array of interactive sports that even the non-athletes had something to enjoy.

Beyond the thrilling activities, this day served as a reminder of the incredible team spirit that defines the Brookshire Grocery Arena staff. It was a time to relax, connect, and celebrate the collective successes that make our arena a beacon of excellence.

WORK WORK WORK

BGA EMPLOYEE WORKDAY: A DAY OF UNITY AND RENEWAL

The Brookshire Grocery Arena staff traded in their keyboards and computer screens for paint brushes and squeegees Aug. 24. Various departments came together to undertake a range of tasks, from painting and window washing to upgrading signs.

Recognizing the importance of maintaining a pristine and inviting environment for patrons, the BGA crew united with a common purpose: to enhance the overall experience for guests and visitors.

The Employee Workday was not just a day of physical labor. It was a day of teamwork, unity, and a shared purpose. The day stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when individuals come together with a shared vision and a commitment to excellence. Through hard work and dedication, the staff at BGA transformed the physical appearance of the arena while simultaneously strengthening their bonds as a team.

BGA STAFF GEARS UP FOR SAFETY AND INCLUSIVITY

In a remarkable display of unity and preparedness, the team at Brookshire Grocery Arena came together Aug. 26 for a comprehensive staff training day. The day was dedicated to addressing crucial safety concerns, conducting fire drills, and obtaining certification in sensory inclusivity from KultureCity.

During the training day, all departments came together to review and reinforce safety protocols. From crowd management techniques to emergency response procedures, every team member left with a renewed confidence in their ability to keep our venue secure.

The fire drills conducted were an invaluable exercise in preparedness. Staff members practiced evacuation procedures with precision and speed, demonstrating their commitment to the safety of all who enter the arena doors.

One of the most notable highlights of the day was the certification in Sensory Inclusivity. Recognizing that each guest may have unique sensory needs, this training equips BGA staff with the tools and knowledge to ensure everyone feels welcome and comfortable at events. This initiative further solidifies the arena’s commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all.

The staff training day was not only a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the team but also a reflection of deep-rooted commitment to the community. By coming together and honing skills, the staff at BGA is better prepared than ever to provide top-notch experiences for all.

A NIGHT OF UNFORGETTABLE MUSIC AND DANCE

On Sept. 7, the Brookshire Grocery Arena witnessed a musical spectacle like never before, as Louisiana local Lauren Daigle graced the stage with her Kaleidoscope Tour. With an opening act by the electrifying Crowder, the evening promised an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for - the incomparable Laruen Daigle took center stage From the first wail of the trombone, it was clear that the audience was in for a treat. With her powerhouse vocals, magnetic stage presence, and two left feet, Lauren effortlessly connected with the crowd.

The profound connection Daigle forged with her audience created set this concert apart. Taking time to share personal anecdotes and reflections, Lauren created an atmosphere of intimacy that made the arena feel like an extension of her living room.

Lauren Daigle’s Kaleidoscope Tour was a celebration of talent, authenticity, and the unifying force of music. It was a night that will be etched in the memories all who were in attendance.

COME FUN, COME ALL!

In a dazzling revival, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has returned to dazzle audiences once more

After a six year hiatus, the iconic circus returned triumphantly, kicking off on Sept. 29 at Bossier City‘s very own Brookshire Grocery Arena, making a historic moment for the citizens of Bossier City, circus enthusiasts, and families alike.

The opening day ceremony was nothing short of magical.

Bossier City Mayor Tommy Chandler declared it “Ringling Day“ in honor of the occasion, recognizing the show‘s significance in American entertainment history. In a gesture of warm hospitality, Mayor Chandler presented the CEO of with a key to the city, symbolizing the city‘s support for this beloved institution.

Jane Pauley, host for said, “It‘s different, but still recognizably the American institution that PT Barnum created in 1871 and named ‘The Greatest Show on Earth.‘“

The circus didn‘t just make waves in Bossier City - it made national headlines. On Oct. 8, featured an exclusive look at the show, capturing the magic and wonder that had enraptured audiences in Louisiana.

One notable departure from its traditional format, the show featured a cutting-edge addition - a remarkable robotic dog named Bailey, replacing live animals. With performers hailing from 18 different countries, the international flair of the show was palpable These talented individuals brought a diverse array of skills and traditions, creating a breathtaking tapestry of cultures and talents that left audiences in awe.
