England Rugby 2015, the Organising Committee for Rugby World Cup 2015 (RWC 2015), has announced the approved list of 41 Team Bases that will host the 20 participating teams during the Tournament, taking place in England and in Cardiff between September 18 and October 31 2015.

Trinity School (Croydon) will be a Team Base for France during Rugby World Cup 2015. The Trinity School Team Base will consist of a 1st XV pitch, sports hall, pool, fitness suite, strength and conditioning suite, exclusive use of sports pavilion complete with conference space and medical room.

A Rugby World Cup 2015 Team Base will consist of an outdoor pitch, indoor training facility, a swimming pool, gym and hotel and will be utilised by the competing teams in the lead up to and during the six week event. The facilities must meet international team training standards and be located on one site or within close proximity of one another. Match venue locations have also been taken into account as part of the selection programme.

150g chocolate cake 25g soft butter 50g icing sugar 25g plain chocolate 100g milk chocolate Small pretzels, broken into large ‘antler’ shape pieces 8 small jelly sweets, red chocolate beans or Smarties 2 tbsp royal icing coloured black or purchased black writing icing 8 cake pop sticks and a polystyrene block to stand up the cake pops

Melt the plain chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a pan of barely simmering water. Add the melted chocolate to the butter mixture and combine. Add this to the cake crumbs and mix thoroughly using your hands, until it sticks together. Divide the mixture into eight and shape each one into a smooth ball. Insert a cake pop stick, place on a tray lined with baking parchment and chill for at least 2 hours.

Melt the milk chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a pan of barely simmering water. Take a cake pop and dip in the chocolate. Shake gently until the excess has drained off. Stand in the polystyrene block.

Theatretrain Introduces New Mini Classes

Theatretrain Sutton is excited to be adding new introductory performing arts classes for 4-5 year olds - TT Minis to its already established Theatretrain classes which offer professional training in the performance arts for 6-18 year olds.

The main Theatretrain School is a part time Performing Arts School for young people and offers all its students the chance to be part of something big – it creates outstanding opportunities for all its pupils to perform, whether in local theatres, on West End stages or at the O2. It focuses on making its training accessible to all and actively encourage children of all abilities to get involved.

The new classes will start at the newly built Stanley Park High School on Saturday 10 January 2015 and will run from 9-10.30 every Saturday during term time – including half term.
