Siren (named after the mythological beings with alluring voices) facilitates a spiritual connection to music through a range of acoustic experiences.

Through its towering scale and connection to Earth’s natural arch, the mountain, the building becomes beyond its visitors. It provides a transformative effect as visitors receive a multitude of paths and adventures to embark on.

The sacred space remains peaceful with its calming color scheme.

For Project 1 of ARCH202, I analyzed a chair precedent (Z-Chair by Zaha Hadid) to provide an architectural ĽáŅĞƁáĞĈ ōĝ ǃƁħăħżƱ áŅă “orientationless.” I also revisited a past project (Konsequential Kardashian) to provide a program for the chair. Like the Kardashians, K-Chair emphasizes form and aesthetic over function.

One side of the chair is used for perching upon while the other is for lounging.

For Module 9 of CAP161, I used gained knowledge from “Ching’s Design Drawing” and class lectures to develop two 2-point perspective drawings: one of Bracken Library (above) and one of Grafton’s School Of Econ (right).
